The room was very clean. It appears to be a good neighborhood that’s very commercial. It is not convenient to get on and off the freeway.
The room contained only a single solitary lamp with a low-watt bulb and a single rear ceiling light, also with a single low-watt bulb. The room therefore felt like a cave. I still read things on paper and this meant to comfortably read without straining my eyes I needed to use my head lamp. Additionally, the room could barely heat itself to a normal 70F Granted, Denver was in a deep freeze below zero but the rooms door, for example, was not weather sealed and I could see a crack of light through the lower 3 feet of the jamb! Further, the installed heater was running off a 20-Amp plug, which is an insufficient amount of energy for the primary heating for a space that size. I had to run the bathroom heating fan continuously just to get the room to a tolerable temperature. Denver had a serious winter every year. The time to heat the rooms sufficiently is now.

The front checkin staff/ owners were nothing short of wonderful. The city area made me uncomfortable, at first, and I expressed a concern for safety traveling as a woman alone I was immediately upgraded to a room that I felt very pleased with. Quiet, clean, comfortable 1 night stay.
