The lighting in our room was nearly nonexistent — we had just one lamp and a light in the bathroom area. I’d strongly suggest adding another lamp or at least a second bedside table with a light. Also, providing more than two towels would have been appreciated. Aside from that, the frequent foot traffic of questionable guests coming and going every few minutes was concerning. It didn’t feel particularly secure. Overall, the stay was barely bearable, but with a few improvements, it could be much better.

It’s cheap, and there’s a reason why. This 1960s motel is OK for a night but I wouldn’t stay here any longer. Lock on room door didn’t work. The front desk clerk tried and simply pushed the door in. I was tired and just opted to use the deadlock and keep others from joining me. The toilet flush handle was not installed properly and kept disconnecting. Elevator sounded like it was on its last legs. I guess I am just spoiled by the chain hotels.

Simple Room - Basic Accomodations

The location and parking lot looked a little scary, but we had no issues with safety or our property. The hotel is old - think real keys instead of key cards. The price seemed a little high for our stay - plus there was $100 deposit. The rooms are small and old, and are not very soundproof. We stayed in a room right next to the main road and had to keep the air conditioner going to be able to sleep, but the air was cold and it was a roof and a bed. Really liked how central we were to everything but wish we had splurged for a nicer room/hotel. Would stay here again if we were on a budget and not spending much time in the room.

Worked for us!

Room was well equipped and check-in was easy even though we arrived after 10pm. Bed was comfy for the most part - it is a spring mattress. In-unit A/C worked well, but room had a musty smell and they had a plug-in air-freshener to combat smell, however those give me a headache so I unplugged it. Be careful as the doors close shut loudly and you may hear neighbor's doors as they close. We stayed a total of 4 nights. Not too many restaurants around that are open late, so keep that in mind.

I think the reviews are inflated. More of a 6* not 8*. It looks more like a halfway house when you drive in. Chairs by doors outside. Weird dudes smoking both cigarettes and marijuana. My daughter was too svared to leave the room for dinner. The shower pressure is weak. The bathub didnt have a plug and the bath faucet didnt work. Used a towel to block drain and took 30minutes to halfway fill bath. The location is on a busy road. Kept me awake most of the night. Finally fell asleep 5am. Woke up to a text at 11am from the office followed by a kocking on the door to remind me checkout is 11am. They gave me courtesy until 11:30 or $30 extra charge. Didnt make sense. Hotel seemed empty and getting my room ready for next guest was not likely important. As much as i hate to stay ar mprek 6/8...i was thinking at least they leave "the light on for you".

It's okay, but honestly should be cheaper for what/where it is. There isn't much in the rooms and you have to ask for everything, and I mean everything - pillows, blankets, etc and they'll only give you 1 tiny thing at a time like coffee. Nowhere to hang up or iron clothes. No one takes out trash or gives you towels. I had to buy my own toilet paper. The internet barely works. No other amenities. The parking lot is sketchy. It's clean enough to stay in in a pinch but way overpriced given how bare minimum it is.
