Quick NFL weekend trip

The property and room were clean and maintained. Basic amenities available, comfortable bed. We were there specifically for the game and not looking to spend much on anything else. The room was a great rate, less than 10min uber ride to the stadium, and some great local food options in the area. As stated in other reviews of this property, it is in the same plaza/area as an event center. If there is an event going on and you are a delicate sleeper this is not for you. For my husband and I it was fine. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would stay again.

Nice place, but know the location

The place itself is super nice and cute, but the location is not convenient nor is it a location in which you would feel safe walking at night. If you don't have a car, you will have to pay a hefty lyft or uber fee to get anywhere worth seeing.

It was okay…

It was a cute motel. The bed was insanely comfortable. I got there early and was prepared to wait to check in, but the host promptly sent me instructions and let me check in early. I was never able to reply to thank them because messaging wasn’t working on my end for some reason… that being said, I would not stay here again for other reasons. I did not feel safe. There’s homeless people all around and it’s a run down area in general. I was woken up at 2am on my first night to either a gun shot or a car backfiring. The next 3 nights were event nights apparently. What’s not mentioned in the listing, but is in the last review that was left (after I had already booked) is that this is in the same lot as a small event venue. There was a party Friday, Saturday and Sunday night with the LOUDEST music until after midnight. People were outside talking loudly outside my window, some fighting happened, the lot was full if I came back later than 9…. Car alarms… It was just a mess. I was there with my 13 year old for a soccer tournament and we needed to rest. We weren’t able to at all. I hate to leave a bad review. It was cute. It was clean. The host was great. But a heads up about the event venue would’ve been nice. When you check in, there’s a paper that states the rules and one of them is “quiet hours begin at 10pm”. Ironic. I wouldn’t recommend this place to families or single women. If you’re a solo traveling male and you don’t care about a good nights sleep, go for it!

DO NOT STAY HERE!

I will start by saying that it is a cute strip motel that has been remodeled. Now, what I didn't know and what is NOT disclosed on their listing is that they also have an event center where they host weddings, & parties with extremely loud music and foot traffic through the parking lot. The event center is literally 10 feet from the motel doors and you will NOT be able to sleep if there is an event happening. Friday night was fine no issues, although we did ask for an iron via email and it took someone 24hrs to respond, but not a huge deal to us. Saturday comes along, we leave to visit family, come back about 8-9pm and the party is in full swing, extremely loud music and people in the parking lot. We get ready for bed and the music is still blasting. At 10:24pm I send an email to the host asking about the loud music and when it would be over. I then decided to call the number listed, no answer, so I leave a voicemail. We try sleeping, but there is just so much noise, loud music, and for some reason car alarms kept going off. We were finally able to fall asleep around 1:30 or so once the event was over. Sunday comes and no one returned my call, or responded to my email. We check out and follow the instructions to strip down the bed etc. To date, the host has not bothered to respond. I have contacted Vrbo directly. If you like extremely loud music, and a unresponsive host, then this is the place for you. If not, I'm sure there are many other beautiful places to stay.
