Wonderful hotel. Breakfast included was a real treat. Accommodated allergies perfectly. Breakfast delicious. Dinner at one of the restaurants one evening was okay. Staff very friendly. Room beautiful, bed so comfortable. Would absolutely go back. Wonderful value for money.

I booked this villa last minute because my other reservations at Hanging Gardens did not come through. It was just too expensive at $610/night all in. I paid $451/night at the Fairmont for a garden villa. When I arrived, I felt like a Maharajah. Every employee welcomed us as I’ve never been welcomed st s hotel before: opening car doors, grabbing luggage. They even performed a ritual Balinese welcome blessing of some kind before escorting me to a check in table. We were given a refreshing welcome drink and cold towels that felt great after 14 hrs out in 85+ weather. Afterwards, we were whisked by buggy to our villa. Wow. Just. Wow. The villa was incredible. It was at least 2000 sq ft. I thought there was some mistake. Aside from the private pool, there are three bathrooms, a full kitchen with Smeg and Liebherr appliances, two levels, massage tables upstairs, and perfect comfortable beds. I have stayed at Fairmont and high end hotels around the world but this level of service and room type was insane. Unless you routinely pay $2k/night for a room, you will be wowed. The property itself was excellent with plenty of,places to relax and go for a swim, along with a private strip of beach. There is a Kids club also which was fantastic with free kids check-in so mom and dad could have a mini-vacation within a vacation. My only negative was that all the 6 phones in the room did not function and the pool lights were out. That was fixed within 30 min.
Definitely the best hotel in Sanur. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful they will remember your name and other details. We were celebrating 30 years of my husband and they made sure that our stay at the hotel was memorable. The restaurants are excellent, Pier eight manager Arya has an awesome customer service, great pool and beautiful rooms. I will definitely go back to this property. Thank you to every single staff member of this hotel to make us feel special.
Check-in took forever because they did not have the rooms set up as I had prearranged months prior.
