We stayed at Richmond Pammukale for one night - a big group of 40 people. Had a good time. Enjoyed the thermal spa - it was a unique experience. We did not go into the Thermal pool at the cotton cascades ..... our guide told us our hotel had a really good Thermal pool. He was right - the hotel did have a good Thermal pool. After the dip, they had a nice cold water bucket with a rope in the corner. It was perfect ! The rooms were decent size and everything inside was good. We enjoyed their buffet breakfast too.
Arrived at the hotel to be well greeted. Bell boy Huseyin was there to help us with our bags, girl on reception very helpful and with great smile. We had problem with the room Wifi, we contacted reception and spoke to the Duty Manager Ayla who moved us to another room without question Food at the hotel was fabulous to suit everyone.THANK YOU. A lovely 4 day break/
Richmond Pamukkale Thermal Hotel is a big , busy Hotel popular with locals as well as foreigners. It relies heavily on tour groups ( mostly Asians at the moment ) and does not make an effort to leave up to the past reputation. We stayed in the B section;the rooms are relatively small, clean but in need of some revamping ( the carpet in our room was stained and tattered , the pillows were very hard, the duvet was extremely heavy . No attention to detail ; minimal toiletries, no body cream, conditioner, kleenexes , shoe horn. The bathroom door didn't close, black mold around the shower tray and the AC malfunctioned. The Hotel offers Demi-pension , just as well since there are no places to eat close by. At check in one receives a page with all information necessary including two lines in bold letters " No food or drinks brought from the outside allowed. The only time i have seen such a rule was on Cruise ships. That will be enough for me not stay there again , considering the drinks in the minibar are offered at exorbitant prices .!
Upon arrival the check-in was fast, the welcome drink was a nice gesture after the long journey. The room was a standard one, a bit small but we knew what we had booked. The heating was working properly but the window's heat isolation was so poor that we had to run it all night long on a max level which meant when it was working it was too hot and dry in the room, when it stopped immediately we could feel the cold air coming through the window. The cleanliness of the room was just OK not the best, not what you expect in a 5 star hotel. Overall and at first sight it seemed clean but next to the minibar it was so dusty which shows it has not been cleaned for at least weeks. So was the lid of the trash bin in the room, the TV's surface was dusty, too. We found hair from other clients on the bathroom floor. The bedsheet was old and had holes on it. The bed was huge, though, so we could sleep with our toddler, it was comfortable for three of us. The spa and wellness department was OK, not really what I expected from a 5-star hotel, though. The treatments were way too expensive and despite the hotel was rebuilt a few years ago it seems they did not do a good job. The panelling seems to be old, the plaster falls. When we used the lift to get upstairs, the corridor leading to the building was not heated at all. It happened two times, so we did not use it anymore. It was not a pleasant feeling running through a cold corridor with a small child in your hands after washing yourself in the hot hamam. What we really liked was the staff. Especially the restaurant staff was always very helpful, had always a smile and a nice word. Our toddler insists on eating on his own which means a mess all the time. When we apologized for it the restaurant chief was extremely kind telling it did not matter at all, the most important thing is that he is eating well. He even told our toddler once, if he does not eat, unfortunately according to their rules he cannot swim in the pool. This worked well :) The variety and quality of food both at breakfast and dinner was fine, we really enjoyed our meals. The live music and belly dancer after meal were pleasant, the prices of the drinks are reasonable. Thanks to the reception's advice we had the chance to visit the Teleferik in Denizli so we were able to enjoy a little snow, too. Overall we were satisfied with our stay here and would return or recommend the facility happily.
After a day touring in a coach it was a pleasure to use the theramal spa, so relaxing and warm. The bedrooms were good, had a fridge, short of toiletries but soon replaced by staff. Evening meal was buffet, we were all seated on long tables which was rather llike being at school. Our waiter was vary grumpy and would not bring us jugs of tap water although other tables had this, we had to buy bottled. There was plenty. of choice. Breakfast however had limited choice, only boiled eggs for hot food. There was some evening entertainment a pianist then a belly dance both were good. Drinks expensive.
We would like to say thanks for all staff in this hotel, very nice service, good food and everything. It was good vacation for us! Hope once to come back and enjoy one more time. Big thanks and good luck Спасибо большое!
Only complaint was cold 'hot' food, everything else very good to excellent, bar prices high but reflective of hotels everywhere, nice staff, good service, many thanks to all. Would recommend using the spa hot 'treatment'!
Open air and closed thermal pools fm 24 degrees C to 38 degrees C available for all seasons, specially good for large groups for any purpose. Service quality and facilities offered are satisfactory and
Arrived with a group of 24 to view the excavation sites. The Hotel A/C was not working properly and unless you want to sweat while you sleep that would be your choice. The food was good but again A/C was not in the dining room. Make sure you drink bottled water, and if you even open the bottle in you room, it will cost you. Wifi was non existent.
the hotel has nice interior, with complimentary offers like turkish bath, sauna and thermal pool but to our surprise there was no complimentary water bottle or tea/ coffee maker in the room which is atleast expected from a decent property like this even the buffet dinner was not very appealing as only beaf was severed asa non veg preparation and we don't eat that. ..we were to leave early in the morning to take flight so we requested them to pack up our breakfast which was complimentary in our package, so that we could have it while travel and again the breakfast packed for four people contained one small plain cheese sandwich each, one juice small bottle and one tomato. that's it. so except for ambiance and decent clean rooms, there is nothing happening at the hotel as the situation is in a remote area is without any access to local markets. for holidaying with family, it is absolutely Not value for money.
