we went there during mid October 2017 for a night and we receive a bad welcome. Reception got only 1 person working while there are big groups of people try to check in. We got our rooms in B Block which no bell boy was there to help we have to drag our luggage to the carpet floor and down the stair and we have child and senior in group. The room was too small for 2 people staying , baggage of 20 kg wont fit in the room. The air condition doesnt work at all and no window in room that we can open for air.they do have a door which let to garden but we cant open it at night. When i try to call reception i have to try 6 times for receptionist piking up the calls. There was no drinking water provided in the rooms. Morning calls was 1 hour late then what i ask them to wake we up . There are many varieties of food to choose in the buffet line. Most of them are ice cold dishes . if u are used to warm food i wont recommend it but the sweets does taste good . If u are looking for a 5 star hotel this one is so not . and if i have a chace to go back i wont be staying here again.
We just stayed for one short night but they have nice indoor thermal pool as the outdoor pool was reserved for some wedding party at that night. The room was ok but might be packed for three people. The dinner and breakfast was good enough.
We were recommended this hotel and were not disappointed considering how much it cost . The hotel looks lovely and the pool is great. Rooms are clean , and have everything you need for a comfortable stay .they have a live musician and belly dancer most evenings and the pool bar staff were lovely, the pool bar menu was basic fast food but very tasty. Sadly The restaurant food was not as good . Lots of choice if you want salads or dessert , very little protein and what hot food they had was bland . The restaurant although inside and the tables being cleared quickly there were too many flies around . Having waiter clearing plates and glasses into containers next to your table whilst your eating was a little off putting to say the least . All that being said , the hotel was good value and I would stay there again but not on a half board basis .
A long flight from Jakarta to Turkey (12 hours of flight) with much tiredness :( but when we arrived at Richmond Pamukkale. we felt HOME, they welcome us nicely. The bed are really comfy, especially wide various of foods during breakfast time. I feel I want to be back
Sorry.... I have really nothing good to say about this so called 5 star hotel. Room is small, two large bags and a carry on and you can't move. Wood surrounding window has paint flaking, tried to open window as air-conditioning is very loud. There was one glass in the room. No tea making facilities at all. Shower connection pipes sprayed water when taking shower. One pillow each in room. Telephone rang out twice when trying to contact reception. Recommend you look for accommodation elsewhere even if you need to travel further..
The hotel by itself is not so bad, but it definitely can't be considered a five star hotel. When we arrived they had lost our reservation and looked at us as if we were country bumpkins, after sometime they finally found it and assigned us a room that had no towels, probably they just arranged it on the spot. The indoors thermal pool is quite nice and very relaxing. The outside pool was also very good and had the right temperature (at least when we came in the beginning of September). The restaurant's food was below average, not what you'd expect of a five star hotel. The food was just so so, but the deal breaker was that there were a lot of flies on top of it, I wouldn't complain about this if we were eating outside on the street but indoors in a buffet this was totally disgusting. They waiters didn't speak English (this is not a complaint, it is understandable, just beware if you don't speak Turkish). The hotel seems to cater a lot for groups and the restaurant was full and the staff could barely handle the amount of people, plus there were not a lot of seats for people that were not a part of a group. Also at no point the waiters asked if you want anything to drink (which is not included in the buffet, just water). The room size is comparable to the ones in Japanese hotels (small), the bed is quite comfortable in my opinion (but I have a really bad bed at the moment at home, so anything is a step up). The bathroom is nice and has the amenities you'd expect. There is a small safe box inside the room. The only elevator that we saw was out of service but it didn't have any sign that said so, it just didn't work. Not a big issue and it is good for your heart :) ... But the bellboy deserves his tip for taking your luggage to the room. They amazingly had NHK world channel on TV which is a pleasant surprise. The staff didn't enable our room to access the "free" WiFi, so I had to write this review using my cellphone data plan.
Family of 4, stayed at Richmond Pamukkale Thermal Hotel for 4 days. There was so many things to like about it... Spacious and clean rooms (cleaned every day), helpful staff, very strong signal and fast wifi covering the premises, HUGE buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner (I counted 70+ different salads!), huge and clean swimming pool for adults as well as a smaller one for kids that was open from early in the morning till midnight(!), huge car parking area, facilities including archery, beach volley, table tennis, table soccer, tennis, basketball, 2 x Turkish Hamam (outdoor and indoor thermal pools, indoor had water flowing at 47 C), Sauna and a Gaming room (it had loads of table and board games). It even had Belly dancing at 10 pm every day) and a musician performing live for a few hours each night. All these at VERY affordable prices! Many attractions to visit nearby (by car). In general a very relaxing environment that had so many facilities and things to try out (food included). On the downside and even though this won't apply to most people, I wish this place was closer to where I live. Pamukkale in general is not easy to get to. It took me 5+ hours by car from Ayvalik. Well worth it, of course, but the distance is something I have to consider when it's time to return. And return I will!
If you are going to visit Pamukkale for a day, and if you have not so many expectations it is ok. I d stayed there for breakfast and dinner. Both of them under average. Tideness and food qualify were under average. People were friendly. Anyway Iay suggest just if you choose as a transfer point.
It is very close to Pamukkale. Clean. Good staff. Very delicious food. The weather was hot without humidity. There was live music at night. The pools were clean. The rooms are not big enough but it is OK.
Very nice food, medium rooms, nice pool, original thermal indoor center with hot pool, hamam and sauna, live music, ... friendly personnel, but not the 5 stars as was indicated. That's something you should know.
