The Assenhoekje is located at the end of a dead end road and offers you a wealth of space and the necessary rest.
The cottage is in our yard and gives you a beautiful view over the meadows where the cows graze in the summer. The cottage offers space for 4 adults and 2 children and stands on a 1200 m2 lot. Children can use our trampoline & basketball pole
On the 1st floor you will find two cozy bedrooms and a bathroom.
One bedroom has 2 single beds (box spring), a chest of drawers and a built-in cupboard. The other bedroom has 2 single beds (box spring) and a decent bunk bed. This bedroom also has a chest of drawers and a built-in cupboard.
The bathroom on this floor has a heated floor, a rain shower, toilet and a sink.
On the ground floor you will find a separate toilet, a bathroom with heated floor, rain shower and sink and the living room and kitchen. The living room and kitchen are in the same room (this has an L shape). In the living room you will find a couch, chairs, coffee tables, cupboard and TV. The dining area is near the kitchen block. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and all other kitchen supplies. Through the patio doors in the kitchen you can walk straight to your own terrace. Here is a large wooden table with 6 wicker chairs. We hope that you will spend a lot of time there so that you can relax while enjoying a drink or a homemade dinner on the BBQ that is present. Mosquito nets for windows and patio doors.
Our rental prices include beds made upon arrival, bath towels, kitchen linen and WiFi.
If you want to use our cot or high chair (free) then we would appreciate it if you indicate this extra during your booking. Our washing machine or tumble dryer can be used for a small fee.

Vuurwerkverbod in Den Ham
Wij zochten een vuurwerkvrij onderkomen voor de jaarwisseling en kwamen terecht in Den Ham. Prachtige boeren omgeving, schitterende landerijen en uitzichten op de wereld van de boer.
Keurig net huisje gevonden waar we 4 nachten verbleven. Op het erf van de eigenaar die zelf ook geen vuurwerk afsteekt.
Wel carbidschieten in de omgeving, maar minimaal last van vuurwerk geknal dit i.v.m de afstand.
Aanrader voor de jaarwisseling, zeker als je de boer gunstig gezind bent.

Beautiful house in a tranquil environment
We had a great time at the house! I can really only describe the area as "tranquil" - while there is a farm and you hear the occasional sound related to that, you can see for miles in every direction, enjoy beautiful sunsets, see bunnies hop through the grass and all that.
The house was also very nice and tasteful, some things we thought could be improved:
1. A real double bed - it was basically two beds pushed together, which I understand is quite common around these parts, but nonetheless we would have preferred a connected bed.
2. The house could use some very basic amenities, like sugar, salt and oil, but that's no big deal to buy of course.
3. The wifi wasn't working very well, but the landlady was so nice to offer me a partial refund just because of that, and I think the problem will probably be fixed already by the time I write this.
We'll happily come back!

Prachtig huis, alles aanwezig. Goed verzorgd. Heerlijke buitenruimte met uitzicht naar weilanden met koeien.
Aardige vriendelijke behulpzame eigenaars! We komen volgend jaar graag weer yerug!

Ontspannen locatie!
Het is een leuke woning voor maximaal 4 personen. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Het is erg schoon en netjes zowel binnen als buiten de woning. Als er iets is, doen Jolande en Gerrit hun uiterste best om met een snelle oplossing te komen!
Je moet wel goed ter been zijn, omdat de slaapkamers alleen met een trap te bereiken zijn.
Erg leuk zijn ook de koeien aan de rand van je tuin, zeker voor stadse mensen;) In de omgeving is van alles te doen en te bekijken en dit kan zowel de rust zijn als de drukte van een stad.
Kortom, een heerlijke woning in een mooie omgeving!

Schoon, gezellig huisje met een prachtig uitzicht voor de rustzoeker.
Wij voelden ons gelijk op ons gemak in dit gezellige huis. Het was er kraakhelder, de ontvangst was hartelijk met een lekkere fles Rose, heerlijke bedden en een mooi terras met uitzicht over de velden. In een woord: geweldig! Als wij weer in deze regio willen verblijven zullen wij zeker dit huisje kiezen.

Einfach traumhaft!
Ein sehr schönes geräumiges Ferienhaus mit allem, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Man hat absolute Ruhe und kann von dort viele Ausflüge starten. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar. Das große eingezäunte Grundstück war für uns und unseren Hund einfach perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
