We booked this hotel at the regular price, but because our visit was over the Xmas holiday week they had almost no staff working, there was no housekeeping service, impossible to find clean towels for your room for the gym or for the pool. They had two waffle makers at the breakfast area and told us they weren’t working, but why would both of them be broken? We suspect they just didn’t have the staff or were too lazy to Refill the batter. This is Florida in winter, peak season, so I don’t understand why it would be so difficult to find staff to work, but more than that, if you can’t deliver basic service, then the price should reflect that in the rooms should be discounted. The staff that was, there was friendly enough, this obviously was not their fault. The rooms were nice and large tiny kitchens with a tiny fridge, no freezer unfortunately. It was a pretty good location though. Disappointing that you also had to pay $20 a day for parking. We will think twice before booking this hotel again, but if we visit during a week where they expect to have regular staffing, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad.
