The breakfast staff consistently told us they were “out of food” but then at times randomly brought out the food they claimed they were out of. There were days were there was basically no breakfast. Also, the rooms while cleaned every three days, when they were cleaned were not cleaned properly at all, with beds unmade. Our AC blew hot air for two nights in a row but management did address that after two nights of lost sleep. Also, loud barking dogs in some rooms on our floor.

We booked this hotel at the regular price, but because our visit was over the Xmas holiday week they had almost no staff working, there was no housekeeping service, impossible to find clean towels for your room for the gym or for the pool. They had two waffle makers at the breakfast area and told us they weren’t working, but why would both of them be broken? We suspect they just didn’t have the staff or were too lazy to Refill the batter. This is Florida in winter, peak season, so I don’t understand why it would be so difficult to find staff to work, but more than that, if you can’t deliver basic service, then the price should reflect that in the rooms should be discounted. The staff that was, there was friendly enough, this obviously was not their fault. The rooms were nice and large tiny kitchens with a tiny fridge, no freezer unfortunately. It was a pretty good location though. Disappointing that you also had to pay $20 a day for parking. We will think twice before booking this hotel again, but if we visit during a week where they expect to have regular staffing, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad.

Fire alarm went off first morning. Our room wasn’t cleaned during the week stay and we couldn’t get clean towels after asking 8 times-AND there was attitude from the “task manager” the real manager was MIA and quit. Ran out of coffee, no eggs, which is unfortunate for breakfast that is included. Seriously? Parking garage extra narrow and dangerous. Every hotel guest we met was complaining but at least their room were clean! Buyer beware- rooms are not cleaned.

Front desk staff are friendly and courteous, parking is convenient(for a fee), the whole hotel is clean, they have a little gym with a tv in which did the job, and it’s walking distance to Atlantic Ave for restaurants and shopping.
