The hotel, its central, close to the blue metro location (Janakpuri West station) and its enormous grounds are all features to like.
The hotel is trying to modernize and improve from a legacy property which it used to be 3 years ago, so you may run into phases of construction there during your stay.
The food in its restaurant is just decent with nothing standing out for its quality or flavor. Although their dinner prices are similar to other 5 star hotels in Delhi, the quality and levels are behind those surely. Non veg foods are dominated by chicken or basa fish (both cheaper proteins), and the flavors are just hanging in there for survival. I should know because I have been into cooking for the past 4-1-2 decades.
I shared my honest feedback with the hotel management the day of checking out and it seemed they were very welcoming of the critical, but helpful feedback. Mt whole intent is that they get to run this hotel better than I found it, and I am sure they can with a little more focus and rigor of processes.
