Very neat and clear, the staff is great.
Metropolitan hotel is no longer a clean property. I was in 5th floor and there was a stink from drain as soon as you got off the elevator. Bugs in bathroom. Toilet and shower had stains. Bedsheet had hair follicle. Room carpet was dirty. One star and not worth a stay. Food also is very expensive. Disappointed and sad to see this hotel deteriorated. Shiv was nice as room attendant.
Dirty hotel with an evil manager at the reception/check-in and caring & attentive staff at the door, housekeeping & breakfast restaurant.
Location too out of the way. Breakfast was poor, service at breakfast poor.
It is in the center of city, close proximity to Connaught Place. But the rooms are dated. Very small as well. Lobby is 5 start but rooms are 3star
The check-in staff put me in a room right next to the elevator - 5th floor. Horrible drilling noise all day and loud hammering and banging all night. Could not work during the day and could not sleep all night. Informed managers, but totally dissatisfied with response. Worst stay ever in a city full of excellent hotel properties. Very poor run down facilities, terrible breakfast venue (small and horribly overcrowded). Managers apologized profusely and genuinely sorry, but appeared helpless and appeared to had no authority to rectify issues. Never going back.
I was very happy with my stay at The Met. All staff were friendly and courteous, dining was excellent, pool was great for doing laps, room was a great value and very spacious with a mini-fridge, room safe, and spacious and clean bathroom and shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a room with a great view. I can't say enough about The Met; it is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The location is ideal also. There is a metro station about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. This is the orange line that goes to and from the airport. It also connects with the other lines at New Delhi Station. Very convenient for me and saved me transportation costs. Great hotel; I highly recommend it!
Location-in Connaught place Spaciousness of the room Cleanliness Good food Only thing I did not like was that bar closed at ten
Friendly staff and excellent rooms. Expected more from gym and pool.
The room was okay, not the most comfortable bed, but clean. The gym is nice to have and the business center let me print out my boarding pass for free. The restaurants serve good Indian food, breakfast which is included also has many Indian options. The some of the staff is a bit over-attentive/friendly to the point where it is annoying, but I guess some people like that. Located within walking distance of Connaught Place. The neighborhood felt relatively safe. No restaurants nearby though. Beautiful Sikh Temple a half a block away.
Great service and comfort in this hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
Good hotel nice and clean and the food excellent and the staff was very helpful
The staff is awesome from the concierge, baggage services, cleaning staff especially Sunil & Nitish. Sunil was always there to help make our stay comfortable. He helped us with setting up the kettle, cleaned our bathroom, replenish our supplies, etc...Sunil and Nitish are very courteous, helpful and have a great attitude with work. Not to mention our driver, Gopal also was awesome. The staff at the cafe during breakfastt, concierge and baggage services were all very helpful. The staff overall made our stay extra special! Thank you😍
