I stayed in the Manor for seven days. A wonderful refuge in a peaceful location. The rooms and services are wonderful here but most outstanding is the high level customer service, from the front desk right through to cleaning, bar and restaurant staff. Requests are acted on quickly, staff are very friendly always greeting with a warm smile. They helped us work out day trips, drivers, and navigate our holiday. In particular the young team in the restaurant serving breakfast and dinner provided as close to a perfect experience I have ever had. Wonderful and most highly recommended I can’t wait to return .
We stayed at The Manor three nights in Delhi and found it a wonderful respite after two weeks on the road. Very attentive staff, great breakfast, and small, very comfortable rooms. We ended up eating there for a couple of dinners, since getting around the city can be a challenge. The restaurant is good, and there is a spa next door which we also took advantage of. The neighborhood is definitely away from the downtown but that was just what we needed. Highly recommend!
The manor is a magical place and an oasis of peace and quiet in the madness of Delhi. Since we were last here it is much quieter with the loss of India accent and some kind of plan is needed with the restaurant because it’s too lovely to be empty. What really brings the hotel to life is the staff so I really want to honour them ... at first they were quiet and shy but with some lovely conversations they soon became warm and animated and new friends. This is exactly what the hotel needs and is its greatest asset ....especially In the restaurant Kumkum for her exquisite attention to detail, her kindness and her anticipating needs and meeting them with grace ... truly she would be a great front of house person because the hotel seems to need a personality with such warmth to get to know all the guests. So a big thank you because of these staff we would definately return. The spa is good and the gardens peaceful ... some of the rooms are dark which would be ok for most people and welcome in the heat but was too dark for me so I choose the second floor rooms with more windows so I would go for the more expensive suites myself if I could. I hope the manor treasures its staff because they really are it’s stars.
Clean, bed and breakfast. Relatively well located in the city (even if there is a train line nearby that operates also in the evening). The staff is careful and helpful but the property is old and needs renovation. They also moved Indian accent (best rated restaurant in India). Ok, no frills.
Home away from home, or at least we wish our home was a nice as this! This was our fourth visit. Love this leafy quiet enclave in Delhi, a city that is noisy and often brutally difficult, given pollution, traffic etc. The rooms are very large, gorgeously furnished, evening time the beds tucked down and handmade chocolates on pillows. Essentially a small boutique hotel that until now was almost overshadowed by its remarkable restaurant, Indian Accent, which is moving to the Lodi because of licensing law changes. Hope the new restaurant is a worthy replacement. Can't emphasise how helpful and terrific all the staff are, like super-concierges. Not really suitable for families, and a lot of creatives visiting town seemed to be our fellow-guest on different visits. The downside is the congested traffic that meets the visitor on leaving the enclave.
Tushar and team were so helpful in getting us acclimated when we arrived in Delhi. Very nice property with clean, quiet room of considerable size. Equally nice restaurant and outdoor courtyard. Amazing spa. If you're looking for a western-style boutique hotel in Delhi, The Manor is a great choice!
Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our India trip. Situated in a leafy suburb of New Dehli therefore minimal noise and away from the madness. Attentive staff from front of house to restaurant. Nothing too much trouble. Room was nice. Well maintained and clean with a very comfortable bed. Room was very dark and no view as window backed onto another building. Great for a lie in but not a room to spend time in. This wasn’t a problem for us as only really returned to our room to sleep. Restaurant food good but limited for choice if staying more than one or two nights. Complimentary 15 minute massage nice gesture. Would recommend.
New Delhi to first time travellers is busy and chaotic. The Manor provides the perfect base to discover the city and the ability to return to sanity late the afternoon. Set in a gated quarter it is the perfect Introduction to India. Breakfast is an introduction to the fare offered else where on our travels throughout Rajasthan. Eggs bread and fresh fruit. The in house restaurant serves a varied selection of Indian dishes that you will find on your travels. The hotel prides itself to be a comfortable and calming. We started and finished out travelling at the Manor. On our final evening we visited the Indian Accent that was based at this hotel. The hotel arranged our transportation. We choose the tasting menu which was superb. The food Was unlike any of the food we had eaten in India. To coin a phrase ' all the same ingredients but not as you have eaten them before'. Indian accent have just opened in Mayfair and on the afternoon of our visit has prepared lunch Past President Obama. He also enjoyed the experience!
We stayed at The Manor for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were attentive. The only negative for the hotel was that the restaurant was relatively overpriced (nearly 700 rupee for a bottle of beer!) and there were limited places to eat/drink in the immediate vicinity.
A modern contemporary hotel with good friendly stall Limited breakfast offer but served with a cheerful genuine smile Chef very accommodating over our dinner selection which was most enjoyable Bedroom 10 quite tight but more than adequate with modern facilities
