I’ve stayed in several luxury hotels in Delhi over the years. The Lodhi was recommended by an Indian co-worker. The Lodhi is best enjoyed with a suite. The regular garden room was, for a luxury hotel, in fairly bad need of renovation. Stained tile, worn out mirrors, delaminating floors. A bathroom vanity that had very little room to put anything.. space for only 1 suitcase. I could go on. The breakfast was adequate for a luxury hotel, but I’ve seen much better at other luxury Delhi hotels. The layout of the hotel is disjointed and kind of hard to understand. The motif of the common areas are dated using dark colors, and again, appear to need renovation. I received an email offering a bid for an upgrade, but I was denied, most likely because I made my reservation using Hotels.com. However, kudos to the front desk staff for moving us to a very lovely plunge pool suite for our last evening when a very loud wedding outside our door drove us crazy. I would like to complement the staff, who were always pleasant, helpful and at your service. All in all, I feel that The Lodhi is quite overpriced, and is not a good value for the high prices they charge.

The hotel was perfection. The architecture was beautiful. I really like the style of the building and the rooms are spectacular. It’s one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed at. The rooms are massive and the balconies are big. The outdoor pool was clean and beautiful. The bedding was pretty and the set up of the room was amazing. The hotel in general is a work of art. The food was delicious as well. I would love to come back. The staff is very professional.

Amazing hotel. The restaurants and bar are top notch. My room had a private outdoor pool and was easily one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. It is spacious and extremely comfortable. I recently shared a review regarding my disappointing experience at The Lodhi Hotel, and I wanted to follow up with an update. During my checkout yesterday, I had the chance to voice my concerns, and I must commend the manager for their exceptional efforts to address them. I appreciate being given the opportunity to share my feedback. It's important to me that future guests have a different experience than I did, and I sincerely hope their expectations are met. Let me start by saying I came here a few weeks ago and was totally in love with the Lodhi Hotel. So much so that my second time around, I chose to stay here over the Taj and other five-star hotels. I am only here for one day due to business, so I selected what I think is a deluxe room with a private pool. I arrived about 3 am, and I have to say, what a different experience this second time is. I hate my room; it's outdated/old, the furniture is dirty, the carpet is dirty, the tile on the floor is worn, and you can see it needs fixing – not a five-star rating in the least. All in all, I am disappointed. ☹️

This hotel is truly exceptional! It is spacious, wonderfully decorated with art and beautiful decor. Very sensual decor. The service is amazing. Anticipating all our needs. We opted for a pool room. The finest hotel room we have stayed in. Private plunge pool was fabulous. We ate at their restaurant Indian accent. This was exceptional. We want to return already!

Good overall property. However, Very bad service in the room. Private pool heating takes ages to heat up, was informed 1 hr from one receptionist, later informed 3-4 hours. Ended up not using the pool as it got too late. Not so happy for the price paid

Excellent room. Had a plunge pool but didn’t really use it much in the end as went exploring. Food is the highlight - from breakfast to dinner. Decor is a bit dated/worn for price point now but still looks good. Would stay again for good and location.

The most fantastic hotel. From staff friendliness to food option 5 star. Plunge pool in room was amazing. We were given farewell cake at last breakfast, very kind gesture.
