The Hans Hotel New Delhi4.0 out of 5.0

Stayed over night on transfer. It is a mixed experience. The stay was comfortable and the place was calm for good sleep inspite of its location near Connaught Circle.Few additional facilities could have made me to review as excellent. The foodwas too expensive. Rs.150/ plus 18% tax for a Plain Roti is something beyond imagination for this level of hotel.
We stayed in this hotel for about 3 nights and I must say it wasn't a satisfactory hotel to stay in. The Wi-Fi kept going off after every half an hour or so and the a/c wouldn't decrease so our room ended up really cold. We requested one of the room cleaning staff for a towel and he never gave it to us, until we asked the front desk for one. The only positive point I can take from my experience is that the location of the hotel is extremely convenient to venture around in Delhi. If you a planning a stay in Delhi please choose another hotel as The Hans is extremely overpriced for the average service you receive.
This hotel is located across the Barakhamba Road Metro station and the entrance is behind the RBS Bank. Mid size room with city view, friendly staff and good breakfast selection. Walking distance to Connaught Place.
The Hotel, though, is comfortable but average. What works for the hotel is its location. Centarlly located and very well connected with good eating places nearby including street food, The rooms are average and smaller than other hotels of the same standard. Breakfast spread is also just average and limited. The staff seems to be just doing their jobs. No smiles. I stayed solo in May 2017 and also one before in 2016 and I would again stay there in sep 2017 just because of its location and value for money.
Visited the hotel for my birthday celebration , I must say the staff of this hotel is very courteous, helpful, kind and they will make your visit memorable. Food was delicious special thanks to Executive chef and F&B team for excellent service... Thanks
I stayed at The Hans for a good five days as it was one of our preferred partners in the business district. The staff is very courteous and disciplined however the lack of maintenance and upkeep of the hotel is really disheartening. This hotel reminds me of the time when everything had to be opulent in Delhi but soon lost steam owing to waning public interest and because of better value for money places in the vicinity. The bathroom is extremely small and I can compare it with the The Ibis in Chennai which were by far the smallest one I had encountered till date. Only saving grace was the view from the room and the location from CP. food was extremely overpriced and not worth it. There is little to no security as anyone with a small bag can easily waltz in without anyone bothering to ask any questions. I would rate this hotel 2 on 5 purely because of a good location. Cheers!
Stayed for a day, the check-in and check-out was smooth. The biggest advantage is its location, centrally located. We were allotted a corner room at 20th floor with a nice city view. The room was very spacious in comparison to other hotels where I have stayed. The room was well maintained though bed was hard. The washroom was maintained fairly well with basic toiletries. Free wifi had decent speed. The buffet breakfast has been served in a restaurant in 2nd floor. Buffet breakfast had decent spread with live counters and options for placing orders. The staffs were well behaved and responsive. However, based on my experience, the hotel management seems to be slightly rigid. Overall it was a pleasant stay and would like to stay in future for a longer duration to explore the property and facilities properly.
Good Old Hotel, very closeby to The Connaught Place & The Centrally located places! Good to stay. Neat Rooms and Safe!! Good Security, happy and courteous staffs!! I would say, although a bit expensive but good place . Starts from 16 floors, 4-15 floors, are offices!
this hotel is been my favorite place for since 2013 and want to appreciate the management for maintaining the best service in its class. kaffa and italian restaurant and bar had one of the best food in Central Delhi. want to mention Mr. Divpreet name who was the first person to give me check-In and always make sure that there is no hassel for any thing. entire house Keeping staff is very attentive. rooms on 21st floor are best and new. the view is fabulous. will stay soon again.
We stayed here twice in June 2017 during our 10 days holiday trip around Delhi-Agra-Jaipur. (This was pre-booked by our tour operator) It is possibly the oldest hotel in this area and lot ('Not a bit') run down. On our first two nights the room key cards didn't work and every time we had to ask the bell boy to open our rooms. The reception staffs didn't seem to care about the inconvenience. Appliances in the room are very old and some are even (Like electric kettle) broken. I don't think the hotel management check the appliances as a routine checks. Quality control lacks in this joint. The bathroom is old style, very basic with clogged drainage! No iron or ironing boards in rooms. The only good thing about this hotel was their good and tasty selection of breakfast and nice people who serve the breakfast. We had lunch here one day, which was pricy and rubbish food! (Possibly the worst Indian food we had) Internet (Wi-Fi) was very slow and didn't meet our expectations. I won't call it a 4 star hotel as they claim in their website but a basic 3 star hotel. Won't stay there again!
