I have stayed here twice in the last two months and each time I tell myself that I will never stay anywhere else in New Delhi! This is a beautiful hotel which is located not far from the airport. The staff is over-the-top welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Service is faultless and built on never having you do anything for yourself. I came there both times in need of total relaxation, and comfort. I was not disappointed. Not only is the hotel a place of beauty but the surrounding grounds and formal gardens are spectacular. Not to be overlooked are the several restaurants, particularly the buffet restaurant on the lower level (breakfast is incredible). I give the entire hotel staff and huge A-plus in every aspect. Yes, I'll be back! (By the way, it does not look as if the featured photo is of this hotel -- possible a mismatch.)

Stayed at the Grand Hotel during a conference and loved the location...right next to the DLF Mall Complex. I gave an average rating because there are both pros and cons to this hotel. Its a bit further away from the airport but if you arrive in the middle of the night the trip is not so bad. The hotel needs to get a van for airport pick-ups...and generally invest in a new generation of hotel cars in my opinion. We barely got our stuff in the car at the airport. Our room was very nice with a view of the gardens. However there were several physical plant issues most significantly the toilet that tended to run continuously as well has giving off a bad smell. When you arrive at 1:00 AM all you want to do is crash out and not move from room to room trying to find a room without problems. This should be the responsibility of the hotel and if a room needs they must from time to time...they simply don't assign guests to it. Another problem is that the bedroom is separated from the bathroom by a large sliding door. Unfortunately, the door kept sliding open. The only way we could keep it closed was to jam on the hotel slippers in it. Beyond that, the design of bathrooms in high-end Indian hotels is quite strange. In the Grand there is no door between the shower and the bathroom. There is a one inch recession in the marble floor to catch the water but it is not so grand to deal with a soapy moat around the bathtub. Beyond this, we found there were some challenges in staff communication. We booked a hotel car with the concierge and when we came down to go we were informed that the car was double booked. We wound up taking a regular taxi across town. Not so great when the temperature outside is 95F. I would like to encourage the hotel to address these issues across the board. They have a lot of potential but are missing a lot of client needs. For instance a breakfast starting at 7:00 AM should be at least 6:30 AM. However, we did have a good pizza from room there is always hope.

Having stayed at this hotel 3 times in recent months I cannot recommend it highly enough. The rooms are large, beautifully decorated and have everything you could need. The food is wonderfult and the facilities great. Both the spa and pool area are a welcome relief to the bustle of the city. All of the staff were great and couldn't do enough for you. I would like to pay special thanks to Sachin (bar) and Chandan (room service) for being so friendly, welcoming and kind. Your excellent service is a real testament to the hotel and I cannot thank you enough for making my stay so enjoyable! I will recommend to all travelling to New Delhi.

I am a long time fan of this great hotel that stands alone in Vasant kunj, south Delhi. Open spaces, big rooms,well manicured mughal look gardens all add up to make staying in this hotel a pleasure. Bedrooms have well polished non slip black marble. Cascade is a brilliant coffee shop where you are treated to a delectable breakfast. In case you have not had a proper chilled fruit juice, this is the place. Smiling waiters who are anxious to please. Splendid natural light bathed this place due high glass walls. Quality of cuisine, breads, fish, meats is a cut above the rest. I have to praise Mr Ved Prakash , manager of G-bar who has a special gift to make the customer feel important. But there is one howler about thr bathrooms. Whilst luxury prevails, bathroom 🚻 in my bedroom was fitted with basic quality plastic toilet seats that had seen endless bums. Seats were clean but carried embedded stains which simply were impossible to remove.why this resistance to replace inexpensive light weight toilet seats left me baffled. Contrast that with polished marble sparkling floors. Bathrooms are exceptionally big. Free WiFi was a big help. I will continue to visit this hotel i have been visiting off and on for over a decade.

The Grand displays grandeur in every aspect; a five star luxury in a grand ambience. The majestic lobby, spacious rooms with equally big bathrooms and sprawling lawns! The breakfast was lavish and the restaurant foods were superb. Moreover the location of the property is also very convenient, not far away from the airport and in close proximity to the popular shopping malls.

i stayed here for three days,day one of arrival they alloted a room of which aircondition was not working & after requesting twice they shifted me to other two in the morning asked for dental kit & shewing kit,which they said are out of stock & also shower of that room was not working which they rectified after complain. In the evening ordered for dinner in room which was served atleast after one hour time & the guy rohan who came to deliver the food came with hand written bill in which it was written total 5300/- & there was no other details when i asked for printed bill he said printer is not working & when i dineid to sign the bill he was ready to argue also in his way back he thorwn the room gate like anything. I will never try this place again & also never recommend anyone for this,overall a property which is being spoiled by couple of useless staff. TRULY A BAD EXPERIENCE.

This has been a Wonderful Experience staying at Hotel The Grand.... It's really a Grand.... with all fantastic ambience and Service.. It has nice service staff​ like Mr. Deepak Khati, Mr. Akash, and Mr. Chandrawat in Cascade resto... monymore... I am currently staying in Room no -501.

I stayed two and half days in this hotel and our group reservation was a B/B. When we enter the reception appeared ""Grand "" but not the the rest. The counter staff are not professional at all and exceptionally slow. I was on a UN mission and there was team and it was group booking by the UN office. At the counter, they took a credit card deposit of 150% of the estimated cost, when inquired they said that 50% is for incidental expenses!! I felt that they suspect their customers, even the VIP visitors from UN!! When some of us inquired, they stopped this 150% deposit from them. They agreed to release this deposit 24 hours after making the payment. Some staff said that 48 hours after but both promises didn't happen. I was given an incorrect bill which was about In RS. 1000 higher than other team members. When inquired, issued an another bill. One of the telephones in the room was out of order!! The breakfast was really a poor one in comparison to the room rate and the rating of the hotel.There were number of items in the menu but only the cheap stuff is served. It is fairly good for an Indian food lover but not for a foreigner who likes western style food. However, the room service was fairly good but they change wifi password every 24 hours which was found to be crazy!! I thought all these were due to suspicion! The room is OK but more than 1/3rd of the space is for the wash room. It is designed in such a way that washroom also appears like the living space. This is the ever worst experience I have experienced in a hotel of this nature in my life. I have sent the same feed back to hotel when they requested by mail and they were so humble to apologize for the inconvenience and they agreed to avoid such mishaps next time. Will I select the same place to see the improvement is a big question mark!
