The hotel is quite spacious and old. I think a renovation is much needed. Breakfast is quite good. They offer a variety of both Indian and Western cuisine. Take note that the hotel is infested with mosquitoes. As an advice, bring repellent.
Food in the restaurant is excellent. Service by Nitish Pathak was exceptional. The hotel is very conveniantly located and very easy to reach from the airport. Rooms are spacious and very well furnished.
Front Office Department not check guest room charges with check show the bill to guest and tell pay this bill. Up on check in time already informed to FO that this is wrong rate to me please change it but that gentleman told me sir we will do before night audit but in the morning went for check out rate was very high. No any changes done by FO. For check in i have to wait almost 20min and for check Out also i have to wait for 30mins. In room i got complimentary Rat 🐀 which is already in room for welcoming to me at Room. WC 🚽 not working lost of water wastage. If you push one time then it’s continue running almost 1hrs. In Delhi people don’t get water for drink. Guest Service or FO not pick up phone. I have to went personally at desk and informed that about my all complain. Very very very bad Experience in my life. In month i m traveling almost 20days but never get this kind of experience.
Duty manager says that dental kit will make available only on request.Phone at the bedside is missing & got installed after a day of placing request. Strongly advise not to look for service from this hotel.At this price lot many good options are available.
Very clean, and great breakfast Hotel. At first it looks strange to me for there was no shower curtain, I took shower and noticed the water was not draining well. So I just took one quick shower, shampoo my hair and a quick rinse and I was done. But my sister took a long, shower which made the water go over the place and she was complaining that she used two big towels to dry the bathroom floor. I thought she was used to that for she works as a maid in Marriott Hotel.
we are using the grand hotel new delhi convention for the last 2-3 years and have experienced very effective f&b services specially by suresh and pramod rawatduring event held in november, december 2017 and january 2018. both are efficiently rendered their f&b services to the best of resources available with them. specially need to mention that quality of food is also good.
Stayed in the grand New Delhi. for two nights. Rooms are very comfortable with all needfull amenities available in the room . Excellent Services. Staff are very cooperative .. Food is very yummy best hotel in this area
Rooms are luxurious and comfortable, good at service. Food was delicious, most preferred hotel. Got good service from Mr. Gaurav Rawat and Mr. Ankush. Good Ambiance , spa, pool, gym etc everything at the mark.
The space looks grand and spacious, till you enter the dining hall. The lighting is so dim, that if you aren't having an overdose of "fair and lovely" you won't see anyone! There is a huge table, for guests, am guessing only when the whole family turns up, would anyone be made to sit there - and as we were - we got the royal treatment! The morsels are quite small, and it took forever for the food to come. The food was good, but like the name, everything except the taste was grand. I probably am a foodie and a hog, so maybe the place was not for me, but my whole family had a tough time recognizing each other! :) - probably if you don't want to see someone's face but can't help inviting them over, that's a great place to go to! Too much unnecessary wood veneer used, and somehow is complimented by ghastly red plastic table mats. Thankfully was not paying the bill, but I felt it was more overly done than it offered.
I recently had an event in your hotel The Grand on 26th March at The Brix. The experience was great as always. The staff is very friendly and were able to resolve all the issues.
