I was disappointed with the grand New Delhi as promoting a 5 star rating. I cannot say all staff was unfriendly but some did seem unapproachable. The room was a little smaller than I expected and bath area had drain issue. The elevator was not working a couple of times and no signs showing stairway access or hotel floors when stairway was located so no emergency exit plan. The hotel is good but I would not say 5 star.
