This hotel is absolutely nothing like the self-indulgent claims on its website. What we read and booked is so far removed from reality the website's author and photographer deserve an award for the greatest work of fiction...ever! On arrival a lackey wearing a hoodie and jeans was called for and took us and our luggage to the room. I did comment in reception that I did not have a good vibe! I asked the guy on reception where the restaurant was as we hadn't eaten since breakfast as it was now 8pm and he stated that they "do not have a restaurant. " Instead he told us we could order room service from the menu in the room. We were rushed into the room and he brought in a large fleecy blanket in a bag and spread it over the bed, switched on the television (a distraction tactic) then left. What we felt next was written on each other's faces as we stared at each other then felt cold, both emotionally and physically. "Oh my God, this is not what we booked." EVERYTHING was filthy, smelly, broken or missing. The bed had no mattress protector and the sheet was dirty so we slept on top of the duvet with the blanket over us. Having turned the television off, it started to buzz at the socket during the night until it went bang! The light switches socket looked dangerous and was grubby beyond belief. Two fridges, no mini bar. One fridge with three feet and one that looked like it had been dumped. No tea and coffee making facilities. We had to ask for water, which we had to pay for and a request for toilet paper brought us two rolls wrapped in dirty cellophane. The shower was so corroded that it sprayed in all directions and dripped all night which kept the bathroom floor wet. The toilet was stained and the mirror had two chunks missing and the broken peddle bin had no bottom to it. Needless to say we decided not to order anything to eat from the menu that was clearly a local restaurant's menu with a piece of paper stuck over the front to disguise its name with 'dial 9 for room service' written on it. There's more I could comment on more but will leave you to make up your own mind from the attached images. But please be warned, book this hotel at your own risk as it should have a health warning. Not the wonderful night to round off a sixteen day tour of India we were hoping for. Just pleased that we were out of there at 7.30am the next morning.
We wanted a good stopover hotel after a long international flight from UK to Delhi. We had used this hotel before as it is close to the airport and was good quality for the price. However, this time we were disappointed. The room was dirty, the bedding looked unclean and the bathroom was dingy and full of hair. My wife, a microbiologist, was not impressed and scratched and fidgited all night. We will not be using this hotel again.
One of the horrible hotels in Delhi. The bed is full of bugs. Toilet not clean, hot water tap does not function. Rooms not clean. Spend only 6 hours but decided never to book this hotel again in my life.
This is genuinely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! The first room was awful. No towels or soap, hair and stains on the bed sheets and just generally grubby. The second room was even worse! Bloody on the floor, rubbish that wasn't ours. Luckily we only had to spend 5 hours there before a flight but I had to literally stand next to the completely belligerent and incompetent manager so make sure he gave me new sheets. You can see the difference in colour on my photos for yourself! Do not stay here!! Even if there's no where else, I guarantee staying a few hours at the airport is preferable to this complete flea pit of a dive!!!
Grace is one of the worst hotels to be. Characteristics are as follows: -No proper lights in rooms -Dirty pillows -Pathetic services -Geysers not working. No warm/hot water to take bath -No bathing soaps -No Towels Overall experience was very bad. It was a waste of money.
The hotel is close to domestic and international terminals. Transport to the airport is available by taxi and autorickshaws. Excellent value for money. Not quite as new and shiny as the photos show. Take your own towel and soap. No choice for breakfast - just toast and tea with only one type of juice. Can't complain for the price though, still a bargain.
Best experience i have had at a hotel in long time. the price was very affordable and room was awesome. Beds were clean and comfortable with lots of pillows. the bathroom was spacious and clean. overall excellent stay almost as comfortable as being at home.
I booked this hotel for 4 days for a family visit to Delhi. I was quite apprehensive before finalizing this one and did a lot of research but now, am pretty satisfied about the decision I made. It is quite near to the airport, so had no problem commuting to this place. From upholstery to decor to service..everything about it was quite good! Definitely, a happy customer!! :-) All smiles :-)
I have been there last week and it was good. The car facility they provided was good and reasonable. Hotel services were really good. This hotel is suitable for Who wants to stay near by airport and for families, couples.
It is not the hotel to stay with family. It was booked by makemytrip claiming that it is 3 star property, it does not even eligible to talk about star. Very worst hotel, dirty bath rooms, dirty bed sheet, sticky floor, you will get vomitings. Makemytrip collected huge money and they informed that it is best star category hotel, just to cheat the people. Don't go ever with Makemytrip which is very worst in service and as soon as they get money from us, they really don't care about us. I have to struggle a lot due to these guys and I immediately shifted to another hotel after seeing the hotel rooms in Grace. Of course, makemytrip never care about and didn't return anything to me.
