the hotel was awful , the room was dirty ,and smelly .smelt of drains and danp . the bed was damp aswell . the window was boarded up with wood . and we saw mice running around the bedroom .. we were shown two rooms and refused to stay ..

4 days at the Spot Inn

Absolutely loved our 4 days in this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the staffs just gave you their utmost service. The location is a bit complicated to find but overall it's a good place to stay at Paharganj.

Excellent Tour, Friendly Staff, Average Conditions

We stayed for 5 nights here during our trip to Delhi- 3 more than we anticipated due to the kind staff and central location. However you do very much get what you pay for, shower was mainly very cold and smelly bathroom- but this seems to have been the case in other budgets we stayed at in India. The facilities are standard, as we came to realise India is likely to have power shortages- but the staff were able to sort this out quickly. During our stay, my boyfriend was bitten by a stray dog on the road of the hotel and the staff were able to help us find a nearby private hospital and advise us on the best course of action for the following days, which we cannot thank them enough for. They also organised a day trip to Agra for us- we paid 5500 INR and we could not have been happier with the value as it not only gave us an English speaking driver at our disposal, but a tour guide around Agra and the Taj Mahal itself- both whom organised everything for us, giving us local tips and helping to avoid the crowds. The price is excellent given the services and we would return should we find ourselves in India again.

Better to book hotels directly than booking sights

I have not stayed in this hotel as the room shown during booking was not available . Also the room allotted to me was on the 3rd floor without any lift fascility. The hotel is connected about a 200 meters nerrow crowded pessage from the main road. So I request hotels.com to confirm all details of your registered hotels before uploading on the sight. It was a bitter experience for me . Kindly don't misguide customers.

Wouldnt stay here again

It wasn't a very pleasing stay. There was no hot water at times and at one point there were no clean towels either. Food trays were left for the whole day in the hallway.

100% travellers

This is a definite place I would highly recommend for travelers is the best hotel myself and my partner have stayed in yet on our 3 year travelling trip! The staff are more than helpfully in every way! The owner of the property has been a great help to us as well and saved us a lot of money! We find him very trustworthy and has not yet proved us wrong in any way! the room is very comfortable with working A/C and hot water, the tv worked fine and it is very clean and tidy I give hotel the spot a 10/10!! I have no complaints and we are very happy

worth the money

This place is right in the middle of local houses/market so best if you want to experience actual India. The hotel had all the basic amenities except toilet paper which the staff refuse to give us for free. The room was clean with A/C and the breakfast is very tasty.

Horrible experience

We made a reservation for 2 nights on a room with 4 beds. One double and a bunk bed. We are a family of for with 2 young kids. We were arriving at the hotel after midnight due to our flight and we have specifically contacted the hotel to make sure we had the room even though we were arriving late. We had paid for it obviously! Even that it was already paid... When we got to the hot at 3am they told us that it was not available. There was no other place to go at that time. They gave us a mediocre room with only one double bed for the 4 of us and they even dare to tell us that we should fit in that bed. Oh... And I am forgetting to mention that even the bed sheets were not clean and had hairs from.... Who knows! I have no words to explain my dissatisfaction, lack of commitment from them and poor service of this hotel. Not recommended at all.

Best hotel I stayed in during our month in Turkey. Amazing staff! So lovely & helpful. They were more than happy to help me with printing & photocopying for a visa I needed. & didn't charge me for it. They let me change rooms so the wifi was better. Amazing breakfast! Best in Turkey. So many choices. Would make me fresh Turkish coffee every morning. Great room. Wonderful location so close to all the main sights. I would definitely stay here again! Best hotel in Turkey! & such great value. Can't say enough about this hotel & the beautiful staff who run it.

Low cost but not a smart option

The location of the hotel is terrible. Very difficult to access and confusing to explain. The vicinity in which the hotel is located cannot be any more bad. The wifi was as slow as a snail. The only saving grace is the quality of rooms in the hotel.

Stay away

I saw the bad reviews before booking but thought it is not accurate. Ended up being a wrong decision. First let's start with the expedia mention of "free bottle water", they wanted to charge me extra for each bottle. Second they told me I need to pay an extra for AC, they ended up saying I should pay three times this amount. "Continental breakfast" is a toast in fact so this should be better described. The room is beyond anything you can imagine, it is full of dust, dirt on the mirror, the bed had spots of yellow something, no cable TV as advertised, hot water takes forever to be ready, the smell of the room is bad because they close all the windows and dont allow any air to flow. Dont ruin your stay in Delhi by staying here.

My review on"the hotel"" booking

It was one of my horrible stay.I was booked for"the spot"hotel. It was already booked and I was accommodated in a different hotel which is one of the worst hotel ever I stayed.I was really surprised that, even a good online service provider, you have cheated me. Wont stay again

Rooms on the ground floor infested with mice and their droppings made an omnipresent impression. switched to a room in the first floor. Towels were promised to be given by 5 pm, then 7 pm, then 8 pm and finally I had to almost fight for the same and receive them at 10.30 pm. Breakfast is below substandard and is a shame when compared to the hotel which shares a wall with The Spot. "So close, yet so far" - both in service and quality. Wont stay again, ever.

Budget hotel, great location

Great budget hotel in the heart of Paharganj. The neighborhood is bustling, with plenty of options for food and shopping. It's also close to the railway station. Simple rooms, nothing special, but a good value. Service is excellent - the front desk is responsive to all requests, and offer suggestions for activities in the area. The only drawback is that it's down an alleyway and can be hard to find - my cab driver didn't know where it was so I had to wander a bit to find it.

an average hotel in Paharganj New Delhi

located at a prime location in paharganj.. walking distance from New Delhi railway staiton ... in bathroom shower was not upto the mark... and electric wall soket was not in working condition i have to use the TV wall socket to charge my phone... the room price should have been lesser .. depending on the service provided ....!
