Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Great location, very friendly staff and owner Madan Pai Ji was very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were spacious and roof top restaurant had superb food, some of the best dishes I had eaten throughout my trip.
Visited this hotel as part of a G Adventures sight seeing trip. Stayed for 2 nights, one at the beginning and 1 night at the end of our tour. Whilst the hotel was basic it was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was really close to shops, the market and restaurants. Would recommend as a stop over hotel 👍
We did not enjoy our stay. I chose this hotel after reading some good revues on Trip Adviser, but could not understand how anyone can give this hotel a good write up. We arrived mid afternoon, to total congestion and dirty streets. The hotel was old, dated and the room had a very bad smell to it, we did tell the Manager who had some disinfectant put down the drains in the bathroom. This hotel does not stock any beers or spirits, we did get a beer but the waiter went out to the supermarket for them ! Although the beers were cheap, we found the recommended price on the bottle label had been removed, the beer price was R90 and we were charged R250. Needless to say we were glad when we moved on from this hotel.
I stayed at this hotel as part of an organised tour, and then returned after exploring a different part of India. It's fairly basic but is clean and has everything you need. We arrived before check-in time on the last night after catching a night train back to Delhi, and the hotel arranged for us to stay at another of their hotels just around the corner so that we could check in early, which was very nice of them! The location isn't great, but taxis can be organised for you and it's not far to the nearest metro station. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The hotel staff at this hotel are truly very helpful (which is why I gave a higher rating than I would normally based on everything else). If you are looking for helpful people, do pick this hotel. They truly took care of safety of their guests-- even arranging for two water bottles for my family the night we arrived because they didn't want us walking around late at night. That being said, this hotel is missing some basic things. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT-- got sick from it my first day. Until the last night of our stay, we were not even aware there was hot water for showers and were taking cold showers. No one informed us that we had to phone call the reception so they can turn it on. Despite being told there were no mosquitos in the rooms, I got bit at least 5 times just from being in the hotel room. It was quite disappointing that I wouldn't get bit while exploring outside, but would get bit inside the hotel. It got bad enough to where I would spend at least half an hour checking and killing mosquitos whenever I entered the room. Pillows and bedsheets were dirty, so be sure to check if they are clean before using them.
As always you get what you pay for, this was a clean hotel with friendly staff however massively let down by its location. To my knowledge, there were no significant attractions in walking distance from the hotel. The surrounding location was a little rough, most shops were places to fix bikes. There is a supermarket roughly 5 min walk away which was handy, and plenty of ATMs around the area. The hotel is also happy to exchange currency, I changed £100 and received roughly 8000 rupees. The rooms themselves are basic but do the job. The beds are a little hard but that seems to be the norm out there. Rooms had aircon, a fan, fridge, TV and most things you'd need. Bathrooms were tidy and clean with a western toilet, good sized showers, and some complimentary toiletries. Just a side note, there isn't a hairdryer. Overall the hotel was ok but the location was unfortunate.
Specious room, friendly staff, hi speed internet. All were awesome. Budget friendly 3 🌟 hotel. It will be my home at New Delhi as during every stay in Delhi, I ll book it. I also strongly recommend it to my friends.
everything was perfectly designed especially the room, they had a superb service and great locality with staff that cares and understands what we need and how, they made sure we had a lovely stay and we had!
This hotel has a really good price-quality range, it is pretty cheap but they offer very big rooms and really good service. The hotel manager was really helpful, we could contact him any time if we came across any problem. We really needed his help a couple of times to make this trip memorable.
The room we had was perfectly fine and actually the biggest room I've ever had. It was clean and neat and there was even an extra bed. In the shower there was sometimes a bad smell but besides that it was very clean and working properly. Besides the room, the hotel personnel is very nice to their guests. They really wanted us to have a pleasant stay and they did everything into their control to keep us happy. Another important thing is that there was wifi. In a city like New Delhi it might be comfortable for western tourists to retreat to their hotel and keep the home front up to date about their journey. The only thing that we did not really like was the location of the hotel. It was in a very busy street nowhere close to any of the big attractions in the city. Also there were no supermarkets nearby or restaurants. However by Riksha or cab it is only a 15 minute drive to Connaught Place where you'll find a couple of nice restaurants and shops. All by all I would definitely recommend this hotel
