Nice staff. But Hotel is not as advertised no restaurant no Terrace total mess outside of the hotel dogs barking horns beeping even from the higher floors. Getting the promised airport pick up was a huge hassle six emails later a tiny little taxi beat up car . Glad it worked out in the end but it was stressful trying to get them to communicate. They initially asked for a credit card over email. Which is not cool. I thought I found a diamond in the rough with the price for the room and the amenities advertised. But as a western tourist I would have paid double the price for the actual amenities. The room was clean and the staff was as nice as they could be. The front door man security guard very friendly and he was genuine in his warmth and grateful for that.

Hotel was a bit of a ride from the airport due to traffic. The driver charged us less (R180) than the stated rate (R250) due to the time of night we arrived so that was a pleasant surprise (it's not a free transfer from the hotel per se, you have to pay for the parking fee incurred by the driver directly to the driver upon arrival at the hotel). The room was nice and clean. Some updating could be done (caulking in bathroom was starting to go). Only spent one night here. For the price, it was fine. Next time, we'd consider staying near the airport to save the hassle of dealing with traffic to get to the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the City Star, in Delhi, at both ends of our trip to north India. The hotel itself is fine- clean, quiet, friendly, comfortable, though the location itself is in the midst of one of the busiest parts of the city. But a good place to stay nevertheless.

We arrived late at the airport but the driver who was sent to meet us and take us to the hotel was there, waiting patiently for us! Very impressed (and relieved).

The house keeping staff and the front desk was very cooperative .The location is very apt , close to New Delhi railway station and Connaught place joints.Overall the stay was very comfortable.

Though being in a crowded street there's practically no noise in the rooms and they are very clean, staff is really helpful and take care of you since arrival at airport, thanks to them we were not robbed by false taxi driver "waiting" for us at airport, they called me and guided me via phone to their real driver.
