Be careful where you book. I booked with hotels.com and it said free airport shuttle and sauna and lazy river. These are not the cases. However staff was friendly. Breakfast is ok. I didn't have hot water but I showered at a prime shower time. It is a quick tuk tuk ride to many hot spots. I'd stay here again.
hotel is located at good place and easy to reach from new delhi railway station. People are nice and friendly and helpful.. my room was good and spacious. I was satisfied with hotel and price.. all were very nice and value for money
We arrived at Aura on our arrival in India. The man at the front desk was lovely and welcoming and spoke excellent English. He spoke to us about India, best spots to visit etc. The room was clean and air con good but compared to everywhere else we stayed it was twice the price and not twice as good by any standard. Breakfast was fine- maybe not for a gentle Western stomach as it was curry and spicy food (although cereal is on offer with warm milk). Overall average but slightly pricey for what it is.
The hotel is comparatively cheaper to other similar quality hotels. The rooms/premises are in decent condition. But all that doesn't matter because this hotel has the most rude, unprofessional, uncaring managerial staff ever. I wonder why they are even in the hospitality business.
It is a perfect hotel in paharganj, the price was very cheap on go ibibo, and according to the price the hotel is far better. staffs are very friendly and helping. room was clean with comfortable bedding. recommended for budget
The hotel is on a very busy congested street in New Delhi, although the hotel was clean and the room facilities were value for money, it is located in front of a block of social housing that at night is filled with drunks and drug addicts, This is not the fault of the hotel - they even mentioned that the area had gone downhill recently, but resulted in sleepless nights. The breakfast was extremely disappointing apparently up until recently the food was cooked onsite but the managers had decided to bring it in from elsewhere to cut costs, this resulted in a very poor standard. My advice would be to stay somewhere else if possible and not on this particular street.
It is a horrible hotel in every aspect - too much crowded location, dirty access road, horrible and dirty breakfast (only few pieces of bread and tea, no any options), dirty room/towels/toilet and all. We could not sleep due to noise in the neighborhood. Drunk people come in the mid-night with a lot of nose and so on and so forth.
We had a good experience in Aura, I had a booked executive room through booking.com and got free breakfast and pick-up from Airport. I arrived on my own from railway ... but they gave us free drop off to airport. Room was beautiful and clenan. manager was very good and helpful.
We visited last year Choosen this hotel after seeing multiple reviews on GoiBiBo Not worth Doesn't have attached restaurants to it We ordered food Dal was stinking like haven't served freshly prepared We complained for it Breakfast was OK Management is cooperative Person who sits near breakfast counter looks like owner He is slightly Rude Everytime he cross checks room during breakfast Location is good Need to have in dinning like others hotel in Paharganj
I have stayed in more than 200 different hotels; however, my stay in this hotel was one of the worse. Hotel is located in noisy area, and you can hear people talking in another room, room was not clean including the bath towel provided in the bathroom. In the website they mentioned good breakfast provided, but breakfast was one of the worse with very little selection.
