Reached the hotel at around 11 pm. Check in was smooth. Room was okay for a night stay. A big toilet. For hot water have to call up the manager 10 minutes in advance. Provides a basic and simple breakfast on self service. Provided airport drop.
I have opted for a family suite. Dirty room. No hot water. I had to request for couple of times and then I had hot water and that too for a short time. Breakfast was pathetic and they charged a bomb for that. Chairs were damn dirty. Towels in bathroom has stains and not sure what they are. Asked for a replacement and I never got them. No foot-mat until I had to ask. No toiletries. The family suite that I opted has electric sockets coming out. Room was smelling odd. However since we were there just for one night, as we had an early morning flight, we adjusted otherwise it is not at all a recommended place. Evening staff seems to be OK but the morning one was pathetic.
There is near airport but not too closer. just use 10-15 minutes from Hotel to airport by Taxi. Normally if you use taxi service from hotel , you will get services charge. You can walk around hotel place to buy some snack or fruits. At the front of Hotel has restaurant , the cost is cheap and the taste is not bad. My Indian friend told me that restaurant is Tibetan restaurant.
I booked online from Goibibo when I reached hotel first impression was bad. F/O staff sitting in reception told me that we didn't receive your booking. Then I called Goibibo after then sitting in lobby for 1 & half hours it gets rectified but I didn't get any help from him. Too small lobby. Room was good that only hotel do have..
We reached the hotel late at night...around 11 PM...it is little interior on that street...turning cars were difficult....very narrow lane...also for airport goers, when entering the hotel there is a flight of stairs which are difficult when you have big suitcases...but their staff helped...the room was okay but the bathroom door had no latch from inside...we dint complain as we just slept for the night.... Staffs are okay not THAT friendly...but helped, bathroom door was not closing as no latch from inside....room service takes long time....in 500 rupees they just got us a van to airport which is only 10 minutes at most....together I had to spend more than 2500 rupees for 11 hours of stay
Hotel was booked to stay and relax But unfortunately it turn down into a nightmare The room was given to me was Very dirty and on the bed sheet there was all around stains, hairs look like some one used before me and had wrinkles all over, Pillow case also had stains of oil and dirt. Blanket was smelling too. I made a request to change the bed sheet along with pillowcase. House keeping attended brought some bed sheets and pillowcases all had a stains. , Finally I found one which had less stains but had burn mark I asked to put on that, the moment attended pull out the used bed sheet I saw mattress had fresh blood stains and was damaged, dirty on various spots . I refused to sleep on requested for other room . Hotel finally gave me an other room which was also dirty Air conditioner was loud and ceiling fan had no knob on regulator to control the speed. White Towels in bathroom was dirty and got stains too. Only One small generic soap I got as room amenities for use. There is long list of problems. I checked out with in six hours and never coming back to this hotel.
We stayed at this hotel for one night to break a long journey before catching a flight from the airport. Not the best location to go out and explore but hotel is conveniently placed for those requiring easy access to the airport which is the only reason we chose to stay at Airport City Hotel. Main problems with stay were - no hot water to bathe with and no complimentary airport transfer. Although the hotel advertises free pick up and drop off, the reception staff/manager said that this was not included and we had to pay extra for taxis to drop us off at the airport which was disappointing. Breakfast is basic. Hotel is suited for a short overnight stay. Would stay again if hot water problems rectified and if free airport transfers offered.
Office reception is on one address, actual rooms are 5 minutes walking distance...with your luggage. Room was not cleaned when we moved in, bedsheets not changed and bathroom dirty. Room was very cold during the night and all the sounds from the street disturb to fall asleep even if you are fully dressed trying to warm up and not dive into used bed linnen. Cold water in shower. I would better sleep in the airport and not spend 1750 rupees per room. Staff barely speaks English, worst organisation. Did not dare to try breakfast.
We booked a room for one night, 2 adults, one one-year old. 1. The bed linen was stained and we found hair on it. the room was not swept properly. After asking for someone to sweep it before we enter, this was done immediately - but not very well. 2. The water was not hot. After having to call the reception, it got to about 30-35 degree, not hotter. 3. On the website it says that the rooms includes an iron board, a fridge and a tea making set. None of this was the case. After asking, we got a tea set immediately. We felt too shy to ask for the fridge and the iron board... 4. The cloth door mat in front of the bathroom was extremely shabby and dirty and has not been cleaned for a very long time. My feet got dirty when I tried to wipe my feet. I then removed it, which led to a cloud of dust and more dirt on the floor. 5. It is not obvious from visiting their website that they do not have a restaurant. We found out when we saw the tiny breakfast room and were unsuccesfully looking for menus in our rooms. 6. The dishes at the breakfast area were so obviously dirty I had to wipe them with a napkin before using. The forks looked greasy. 7. We checked in with 3 people (including our baby for whom we had to pay EXTRA, which is outrageous in itself), but got only 1 towel. After complaining, we got 2 more, but no hand towels. Positive: The wifi was working, the breakfast not too bad (nothing great, either, standard Indian breakfast and toast with fake jam). The TVs were new and all channels available - and listed according to categories (e.g. Movies), which was the one positive surprise of our stay. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We were able to have our included breakfast before checking in, not the morning after. All in all, it was a quite negative experience. I'm used to such "cleanliness" and lack of hygiene and amenities and don't mind it - if the room costs 300-400 Rs./night. However, in a supposedly modern and mid-level hotel with room prices of more than 2000 Rs., it is simply a shame.
persistent rude behaviour by the receptionist, followed by,an entry into a terrible room...no hot water, dirty linen, and poor maintenance.would not recommend this hotel at all.checked in because i was to attend to a conference and was getting delayed.
