I am still staying in Fraser Suits. Was forced to write a review as all my requests fell on deaf ears. I was checked into room 610 on 23rd October 2017. Was surprised to find room was in very poor conditions. Curtains were moist smelling, bathroom fittings seemed like never cleaned, bed covers have holes in it, sofa had red spots maybe blood or beetel leaves. Called up the operations manager, he visited the room and told me as they have full occupancy, that's the reason for it. I was surprised by his reply. Was shifted to room 611 which is adjacent to previous room. Realised approach to the room from lift is filled with horrible smell. Reported it to management but nothing happened. I am very unhappy with the service. On this occasion I will say it was way below 5 star standard I expected from Fraser suits. Sumit Sharma
This is located slightly out of the way so may not be ideal for everyone. We were travelling as a group of 4 so was ideal for us to have a large suite with kitchen and lounge area. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Reasonably clean. Staff friendly. Ordered room service one night which wasn't bad. Overall not too bad
We spent 5 days here at the start of our travels around India. We chose the hotel because we are a family of 4 and wanted an aparthotel. We have stayed a number of times in the sister residence in Kuala Lumpur and suits our needs well. The apartment was a good size - living room, kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very useful was the washing machine and tumble dryer. The residence is in reasonable condition - maybe slightly tired around the but not enough that would stop me from staying there. The breakfast was ok and adequate. The downsides - quite far out but I had researched that the Metro was close by. However, as soon as you leave the hotel within 20 feet the inevitable Tuk-Tuk on-slaught begins and is relentless. We hired 2 x tuk-tuks on the first day for 1000 Rupees each for a full day sight seeing. After Aksharam Temple we got taken to shops and tourist offices on the usual Tuk-Tuk Scam, For anyone reading - turn left out of the hotel entrance and blast up the road 400m to the Metro - 20rupees into the centre of Dehli! - Safer, quicker, cheaper and do not be fooled by the locals saying it is too crowded...thats just a scam. Take the Metro! We also asked the Residence for a airport pickup - they emailed me a form and said that I had to scan my Credit Card and email to them...I didn't like this much and thus didn't do. The pre pay Taxi from Delhi airport said it would be 950 rupees. On the meter it was 750Rupees so if travelling from New Dehli airport insist on 750 rupees to this location. We stayed on 6th floor and where ok for noise. If you havent been to Delhi before the noise of beeping car horns is relentless...
Straight away I was struck by the general disinterest by the front counter staff. We waited 30 minutes for our rooms to be organised. Whilst waiting around I noticed the dirt and dust - I realise that Delhi is a filthy city, but I think that cleaners should be working to ensure that everything is dust free in the hotel. Our rooms were tired and although clean, seem to have years of built up grime. The view from the window is of a construction site. Restaurant staff are helpful and pleasant and the meals very good.
Location is great (for me) . It may not be so great for others because it's not really close to anything. But it's relatively close to Noida and that could be a plus. Suites are large so works for families and groups. Breakfast buffet has limited items but food is good. Also true for lunch and dinner. Poorly maintained. Bathrooms stink of sewage. They fixed it after one night. Short staffed and very poorly trained. Nothing is done right the first time. In the restaurant, waiters are always hiding in the kitchen so it's hard to get service (but the cooks are good). I could go on about the number of things that were bad or well below average here. I think a 4 or 5 star hotel needs to have higher standards of service. The lack of ethics is another issue. When I wrote a review on a different site, their general manager responded saying in essence that "they got back to me and will make sure this issue was resolved to my satisfaction". In reality they did not bother to get in touch with me. Fraser Suites needs to review how this hotel is being managed and the impact to their brand. I certainly have a poor view of their brand right now. I think with better management this could be one of the best hotels in Delhi. So disappointed.
I stayed for one night 14/15 August. The room is good - all amenities, washing machine. cooking range, large frig, etc. Bathroom leaves much to be desired, there is not shower or hand shower in the bath tub. The internet is free and fast. Food is pathetic and best left alone. The service both in the room and the restaurant is very very very slow. Most shocking was that they charge for water after two bottles of water. The counter staff is not so friendly
The Hotel provides all facilities and rooms are spacious and very lavishly furnished. The breakfast provides different options to suit everybody's tastes. On the negative part the hotel charges you in the currency of the card issuing country and NOT that of the local currency for international cards. Even after pointing out they are not able to correct it. This could leave a dent in ones pocket.
Visited this hotel on 14th August. The room was very good having in room benefits like microwave, washing machine etc. Been here earlier too (last year) where the stay was very pleasant but this time it was descent. Kids area and other amenities are on 9 th floor which are not properly maintained and have a cooling problem. Secondly, the food was pathetic, the quality has degraded a lot since last year. Not many options in buffet and quality not upto the mark, the service was very slow and the hotel staff was also not that helpful. Need a lot to do to stay in this industry and this property needs to do it quickly as there are several chain of hotels lined up in competition. To conclude except the room, nothing is good. Just below average.
Stayed here for just one night, check in around 6.30 evening and check out at 9.00 am morning. Though checked two persons but I stayed alone.as usual check in was smooth and.we.moved to nice cozy room at first floor that has all civilities like refrigerator oven hot plate washing machine crockery surf sachets and.iron with table. Bad is good with other beautiful decorations. Did not eat.in night but ate the breakfast. Quite sufficent choice and variety I liked idli poha n hash potato with mango milk shake. Overall pleasent stay just few observations.like cars entering have to take a u turn to leave the same gate. I gave them advance deposit in nice currency notes but when they returned it was all a bunch of RS. 50 notes more then half soiled dirty and worn out. Don't know if it the.trend. here in Fraser or in general in Delhi to circulate worn out. Notes.
The hotel is a bit far from the main city spots, but there is a metro station just in the door. I prefer to use metro than taxi or tuk tuk in crazy Delhi traffic. The restaurant is amazing. Good swimming pool on the top.
