This luxury cabin will be the perfect getaway for your long overdue vacation! A modern mountain getaway nestled in the private gated community of Powder Horn Mountain and just 10 miles from Boone. House sleeps 6 with decks on both levels. Screened porch with hot tub, propane fire pit, and outdoor seating. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could want for cooking and baking plus a stocked coffee bar. One bedroom on the main level (Queen) and a connected full bath. Basement level has two Bedrooms (2 Twins, 1 Queen) and a shared full bath. Gas fireplace, large family room, and additional den with games and TV downstairs. High speed FIBER internet. Plenty of DVDs to browse. Property is certainly one of the best equipped in the High Country. Linens Provided. Stop before you get here for your groceries... Once you get here, you won`t want to leave! Pets ok - Max 2 Dogs only $50 per pup for the entire stay Note: Parking is for 2 cars. Additional cars can park at the overflow lot across from the clubhouse. Please do not park on the street.
Feel like getting out and about? Drift a while on the New River or fish in state stocked Elk Creek. Powder Horn itself can be your hideout! Enjoy the clubhouse, pool tables, ping pong, three lakes, fishing, paddle-boating, community swimming pool, tennis courts, chapel, half court basketball, fitness center, campground, 10 miles of hiking trails, playground, etc. With full time community maintenance you can rest assured you will always have access, even in the winter months. Powder Horn is about 45 minutes to the ski slopes for all you snow bunnies. Like horses? Leatherwood is right around the corner and perfect for booking trail walks or sunset picnics. Adventure awaits!

This cabin was the perfect space and location for our group. The cleanliness of this home was 10/10. The home was equipped with everything you needed from enough towels, blankets, kitchen supplies and more. The screened in porch made with seating, a fire pit and hot tub was made this the ultimate experience so relaxing and cozy. The location was perfect! We were walking distance from the club house and playground area for the kids to play. Check-in and check-our directions were super simple and easy. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

How responsible and helpful the management team was! The house was spotless but the only thing missing it says full stocked coffee bar which we thought included coffee but it did not. The outdoor patio was our favorite and the hot tub was very clean. We also really appreciate the quality of the sheets on the bed.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Peace on Birch! The property was well maintained and had lots of very thoughtful additions. Beds were very comfortable as was the rest of the furniture. Everything was perfect!

My husband and I had the best time celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary here! We had everything we needed and more, the house was so clean and cozy, and we loved our time spent on the screened porch (with the fire pit burning) watching all the deer play. We would love to come back someday. One of our favorite places we’ve stayed so far. We loved every minute of it and didn’t want to leave.

Great mountain retreat

This weekend was my second time staying at peace on Birch. I always have a great time at this lovely cabin. It is always well-stocked with amenities and I greatly appreciate the quality of the bedding and towels. I appreciate the fluffy towels and robes for the hot tub. Powderhorn Mountain is a community that is quiet and family oriented to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The host has absolutely thought about everything to make this home the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils, the bathroom had toiletries and plenty of towels and the living rooms were cozy with plenty of soft blankets to cuddle with. We loved the hot tub and screened in porch. The community was very beautiful and the neighbors were friendly. The lake was stunning and we even caught some fish! We would definitely stay here again.

This house is so nice and exactly how it is described! The screened in porch with the fire pit and hot tub were perfect. The property manager was easy to communicate with and quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property, and we will be back soon!
