Fairly new building. The room itself was clean however the sheets were not with hair throughout. Fortunately we travel with our own sheets as a backup we were prepared. All else was as expected.

My experience staying here was truly excellent. At first, I had some hesitation about the absence of on-site customer service for check-in. However, the host provided clear and detailed instructions by email, including the entry code and house guidelines, which made the process seamless and very easy to follow. It was just as efficient as checking into a traditional hotel. Once settled, I found the accommodations to be exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully maintained. The space felt welcoming, clean, and peaceful. The bed and pillows in particular were outstanding—I cannot recall the last time I slept so well. This level of comfort truly set the stay apart and exceeded my expectations. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my decision to book here. The combination of convenience, comfort, and professionalism makes it an excellent choice, and I would not hesitate to rebook for future visits.

Affordable cabins with prairie landscaping

I’d recommend staying at Bluffside Gardens in Decorah! It was a lovely place, with fantastic views of natural prairie wildflowers, pine trees, great landscaping! So relaxing just viewing goldfinches, hummingbirds, deer and other surprising creatures!

Other than one of the toilet roll holders hanging off the wall, the dry wall anchors failed. The stay was perfect. Ac works really well, the area is beautiful and quite. Me and my family really enjoyed it. Kitchen and dining area were easy to use and accessible. Two separate bathrooms and bedrooms was very nice.

Love that is is close to Luther College, so many Decorah Parks, the Trout Run Trail for biking of roller skiing (we did both on the trail and had a blast), great mountain biking in the area, wonderful accomodations (design is clean and modern, native gardens, quiet, sense of peacefulness, integrated into the natural landscape, landscape restoration along with recreational opportunities.

Room was clean, but some items in the space are showing some wear, not off putting but worth a note. Room was good size and the beds were very comfy. Grounds are really peaceful and pretty!
