The pictures of the "cabin" we booked was not what we ended up getting...come to find out when I brought my concerns up with the owner the next morning, he said tthey have 2 cabins under the same name & they can only post pictures of one on rheir website. They chose to post the nicer & bigger one on the website, because ours had a bathroom (toilet & shower) that was smaller than a handicap bathroom stall at Walmart! So if you are wanting to rent one of their "cabins" (which all they are are hotel rooms with logs on the outside) please call and ask to see pictures of them before you reserve!! Also, please be aware you are right off the highway & it is loud at all hours. (The buildings were built in the 1940's, so not very sound proof lol) Also, we left to get breakfast before checking out on Saturday, came back to fiinish getting ready & we found the cleaning lady in our room..they said if your vehicle is gone they assume you have checked out, so they start cleaning.😩 Really disappointed with our whole experience & even with the response from management when I told them everything before we left. Just want everyone to be aware before booking here.

A treasure in the Black Hills

This little motel is fabulous! It's so clean and the hosts are very friendly. The bed was comfortable and all amenities provided. There's a beautiful little creek behind the motel and cozy gliding rockers to sit and enjoy the sounds of the babbling brook going by. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will definitely be back.

Warm and comfortable on a cold night

It was -6 below zero outside and even my truck was having trouble staying warm. I opened the door to the room and it was a beautiful 70 degrees. Clean, spacious and a perfect resting spot after a long day. Will definitely be staying again.
