Knowing that it is a 145 year old hotel it was surprisingly updated as mych as possible. The space directly in front of our 1st floor room was quite cozy and steps away from the pool. There was a strict no noise policy after 10pm, which was great. Bed was good and AC/ceiling fan were the best ever. Only suggestions would be add a small refrigerator.
