The Anchor Inn is conveniently located to the beach, shops and restaurants. The owners are great, friendly, accommodating and helpful. The homemade breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the our stay and would certainly stay again.

This was one of our best stays anywhere in the US. The owners have put a lot of love and care in every room ( which has a personality of its own). The owners cooked Breakfast for us that was delicious and also respectful of our dietary preferences. They have plenty of towels available. And in case the above did not convey it, it blows the experience in any other hotel (e.g. Marriott) out of the water.

The property was perfect for our stay. The food was fantastic! The room did get a little warm at night due to sharing a thermostat with other rooms but extra fans were provided to help. The room was good size and the bathroom was very large. Very clean property and friendly owners!

Beautiful property. Walking distance to historic downtown. Very comfortable with several areas to sit outside and relax. Breakfast was homemade and delicious every morning. Even adjusted to our dietary needs. Housekeeping is only when you checkout and that was a little different for us. Also limited ice if that's important to you.
