Tucked away on sleepy Park Avenue in the Lake Precinct of Daylesford is picturesque Green Acres. A stylish interior-designed 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home, comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests with an open plan kitchen, dining, and living area for everyone to gather in comfort and style.
Located a short stroll to Lake Daylesford or just a couple of minutes drive into the heart of Daylesford, Green Acres boasts incredible country sunset views across the valley to the back of the property and Stony Creek below. The outdoor entertaining area features a luscious green lawn and a fire pit, while suspended egg chairs and a large outdoor lounge on a covered decking provide the perfect spot for an afternoon wine or early morning breakfast as you listen to the abundant wild birdlife.
Green Acres offers guests the ultimate country escape with the convenience of a central location and all the modern comforts.
The Space:
Green Acres’ central open-plan lounge and dining area offers guests a stylish space to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the region. A large designer lounge with chaise, and an abundance of cushions and throws provide the perfect setting to settle in, while a solid wood provincial table allows guests to enjoy a home-cooked meal. To the kitchen, visitors will enjoy a well-equipped fully functional space with gas stovetop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and stainless steel fridge. A generous collection of cookware, cutlery and crockery ensures washing up is at a minimum.
Each of the home’s two bedrooms features luxurious high-end king-split commercial beds, adding versatility depending on the group’s needs, while designer fabric headboards, pendant lights, artwork, soft furnishings, wall heaters, and electric blankets exude style and comfort. The master bedroom has direct access to the shared bathroom with a double walk-in shower, heated towel rail, and toilet.
One of the key features of Green Acres is its elevated large undercover entertaining area at the back of the home with seating for all guests to enjoy a spectacular sunset through the trees of the Wombat State Reserve to the west. Down a few stairs to the back of the property, guests will find a lush clearing of green grass surrounding a circular firepit area - the cherry on top of a wonderful country experience.

Daylesford and surrounding region has long been considered a special place of healing, relaxation and indulgence. Nestled at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, the region is most famously known for its natural mineral springs and is home to some of the best restaurants, cafe’s, galleries, wineries and distilleries regional Victoria has to offer. Located just under an hour and a half from Melbourne, the region is home to some of Australia’s most spectacular natural landscapes brimming with native flora and fauna. Getting Around:
There is a limited bus service operating between our beautiful towns. The PTV website will provide the most up to date schedule/timetable. There is a taxi and maxi-taxi local service which can be contacted. Unfortunately Uber has not quite reached us yet.

Lovely place to stay BUT
We enjoyed our stay, clean, accessible with good amenity BUT although it contained a TV, it had no signal. I spent an hour trying to work out the problem with no luck. Next day when I called the manager, I was told that there was no reception in that area. It seems there was no aerial installed. Would have been nice to have been warned.

Some of the things that need attention:
Bathroom and bedroom doors do not close....
No niche/caddy in shower for your soap etc....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. So beautifully decorated and comfortable. Sitting outside in the egg chair, reading a magazine and taking in the stunning scenery was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

A cosy winter stay
This property is small but comfortable, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the back deck with its beautiful view, cooking local produce in the well-appointed kitchen and keeping warm and cosy inside of an evening.
