Interesting, tasteful decoration and art objects characterize this cozy family hotel. The breakfast is fabulous. The rooms are relatively small but well organized and featuring electronic touch controls. Nice for modern couples and small families, rather challenging for elders.
Stayed here after a driving trip to Europe, hotel was easy to find and as out of season we were able to park in one of the limited hotel spaces with no charge. Warmly met on arrival by nice man who checked us in with ease and explained more about the local area, was nice to get a Davos card providing us free transport on the buses and lifts, which we used and he gave us a great map which came in handy. We even took his helpful advice about restaurants to eat at that night and this was spot on.The hotel had just reopened for the Summer season so was really quiet, as was the whole town. Whilst our room was small, we did have 1 large case and a smaller case, we would have struggled with storage if we were here any longer than 1 night, the room was nicely appointed and furnished and the bathroom yes small was really clean and looked newly refurbushed. The rooms has all electrics controlled by a touch screen panel which we both struggled to work out, but i can see this modern technology would be useful and a panel at either side of the bed and in the bathroom meant you never had to hunt for the light switch. Hotel is literally a 1 min walk to local bus stop which services lots of Davos and a 5 min walk into the town, there are also supermarkets by the bus stop. Quiet nights sleep, i found the bed too hard but my husband loved it - so thats just personal taste. Great breakfast nice fresh bread and criossants which were yummy - we were glad to have stayed here and the hosts were really welcoming and friendly couldnt fault the hotel.
I wish this hotel had a lift. The room was very small but had a nice view of Davos. The décor was charming and breakfast was excellent with great service, cooked-to-order omlettes, and a wide selection of food. The location was good; we were within walking distance of the downtown area, restaurants, and the funicular—which was free with a pass from our hotel.
My stay at the hotel was great and it was a pleasure. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The hotel was lovely and the restaurant was great. The nearby vicinities were all close by and it was all in all relaxing, which is what we were looking for, I will come again to enjoy another great vacation here.
Newly renovated family driven Hotel in the center of Davos. Rooms are better or can compare to many of the older 5* Hotels in Davos. Breakfast is great. Only thing missing is a Sauna/Wellness area. Overall price/quality for Davos is top. Just book😊
My wife and I, along with her parents stayed at the arthaus Hotel for 5 nights over New Year's this year. We were a little late booking, but were very happy with the arthaus. The rooms were nice and clean and updated, not huge though. Bathrooms have been redone recently as well. The light control panels are interesting, they took some getting used to and may be a little confusing if you only had one or two days to figure them out. The staff were terrific, very friendly and helpful. Location is great, we were in Davos to ski as well as to attend Spengler Cup, two ski hills within an easy walk and the Parsenn is a short bus ride away. Vaillant arena was close by as well. Breakfast was standard fare, pretty good. One suggestion I have would be to do something about the front stairs. They were quite slippery from the snow when we were there, we had some concerns about family members navigating them safely. All in all, a great place and I would consider staying there again.
We stayed in Arthaushotel for two nights - hotel is located in Davos center - very close to ski lifts. We had a very pleasant stay - staff was super friendly and rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed a beautiful view from our room. I would recommend this hotel to everybody because of the nice atmosphere.
I've been staying at the ArtHaus during the winter of the last 8 years... And each year is better! Diegodo and his family give an outstanding service at the hotel where you really feel at home. The place is highly recommended! GT
We went to the restaurant of this hotel , and it was AMAZING!!! the plates are really an art that your eyes gonna enjoy just watching them. and the taste is awesome! beautiful and delicious! It's a bit expensive but comparing to what you are eating it's nothing! The restaurant is not open every day! so ask first!
Recommendable hotel for summer stays where most of the time is spent outside and where not much space for clothing and showering etc. is required. - central in Davos Platz, approx. 10 min walk to many restaurants/clubs - easy to reach from the station - nice art in the rooms and elsewhere (artist is part of the staff !) - family friendly and friendly in general (not 5* service, though) - rooms nice and sleeping quality good - but little space - tiny bathrooms with too few bars for towels - not ideal for people who can't walk up a few stairs...;-) - price per room/night is higher than expected ! But due to good location
