Beautifully decorated and centrally located, this beautiful 3-bedroom home offers easy access to all Canaan Valley has to offer. In winter, White Aspen is a short drive to Timberline Mountain, Canaan Valley Resort and White Grass. Spring, summer and fall visitors will love the ten-minute drive to Blackwater Falls, as well as the artsy towns of Davis and Thomas. The kids will love the community swimming pool and playground that are just steps away from the front door. Make mealtimes meeting times. Inside White Aspen enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and ample dining space. Enjoy a favorite show by the fireplace or spend some time stargazing from the outdoor hot tub. Aren’t vacations wonderful? Come enjoy some time at White Aspen!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was our first time staying in this home, and we will certainly stay here again. The home is large enough for 2 small families to stay here with each bedroom having it's own full bath. For the winter, we loved how the laundry area included the clothes rack and boot storage, so that melted snow is not tracked through the home.

Timberline ski week

We spent the week to ski and relax, the house was the perfect location, and perfect size for our family. We will likely stay here again.

Overall nice property, but…

Let me first say, that the rental itself inside was comfortable. It was clean, we really liked having a bedroom on the first floor. That being said, we were disappointed with the lack of outdoor seating. My goodness, we fortunately brought stadium chairs, and used those, or otherwise we would not have been able to sit outside and enjoy the evenings and beautiful views. Even a couple of plastic chairs from Walmart would be better than nothing, given what we paid to stay here. Also, the rental lists availability of gas grill. This unit had two gas grills, but only one had a tank which was empty, so we were not able to grill the fish like we had hoped. This should have been checked prior to our check in. Overall, we did not care for the location. Unlikely we would rent this house again in the future.

Great spot for family ski trip

Property was well maintained and as described in listing. Less than a mile from timberline and 5-10 min drive to Canaan valley. Property manager was helpful and respomsive
