Love the location! We used to stay at the house years ago. So good to be back. The pier/beach area is a plus and not that far to walk to it.

Beautiful House with an amazing Beach! We had windy but beautiful weather in April. The house is very well equipped but lacked some necessities like paper products and detergents. The coffee maker takes basket filters, bring some with you or plan on purchasing some.Overall an amazing stay and we will definitely be back to Dauphin island!

The house is so comfortable and well-decorated, and the sunsets from the dock were incredible. We enjoyed the porch and being able to use the kayaks out on the sound. The management was super responsive and wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Great spot for you g kids

The Bayside is very shallow and perfect for kids to play in. Watch out for stingrays but other than that it's perfect.

Good time at Chele's

Very nice property. Had a couple bumps at first but everything was taken care of immediately. Tons of towels and extra trash bags and toilet paper which was a surprise and much appreciated. Will return to Chele's Baysid.

Beautiful home on the bay

The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. For my aging parents, the stairs were easy to navigate. They enjoyed the covered back porch while we enjoyed the fishing off the dock. We had great fishing before Francine went through. The hurricane must have disrupted the fishing after that. Overall we had a wonderful time!

Peaceful, calm and relaxing

It was a great time. Everything in house worked as it should. It was clean and well stocked with appropriate equipment in kitchen. Back porch was a big plus. The dock was a nice addition, we fished nearly every single night off dock and caught several fish to include a shark. Just catch and Release for us. Good time!! Will be back to Dauphin Island. 👍

Great place for a get away!

Chele’s Bayside Place was just as described in the listing. We had plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children, two of which were one year olds. It was great to be on the bay side of the island as the ocean side had red flags on days we were there. In the bay, we were able to swim, fish, throw out some crab traps, and play in the sand. We enjoyed the swing and porch swing below the deck. When we had trouble with the main door lock Dauphin Island Vacation Rental maintenance was there to help. They were very efficient and quick. Having a washer and dryer was amazing, no dirty laundry to take home! I gave a 4 out of 5 star on cleanliness, as I had to sweep the floors the first day. We felt sand on our feet when we entered the house. With a crawling baby I didn’t want her to be covered in sand and who knows what else.
Just as comfortable as being at home. Makeshift tent.
View of the sun setting from the deck.
Catch and releasing sand crabs was entertaining!
Caught a few blue crabs in crab nets. All were too small to keep. (Pickup crab nets and bait before you arrive.)

Family vacation

We traveled from Ohio as a family. Half of us stayed here and the others stayed at another property a few houses away. The location was perfect! The house was the perfect size. We didn’t feel cramped at all. We spent a lot of time on the private dock for the morning coffee and sunrise to the evening cocktail and sunset. The small beach was perfect. The water is very shallow a long way out.The kitchen was pretty well stocked except I was surprised that there weren’t any spices in the cabinets from previous guests. Most all of the properties I have stayed in had some. The house could use a bit of a deep clean, but overall it was ok. There were plenty of towels and starter packs of soap for the laundry and dishes. The back deck was a good size and the gas grill was nice. The furniture was comfortable. The beds were comfortable with TV’s in each room. I would definitely recommend this property for families. Check in and check out were a breeze. Check out here was actually a lot easier than other properties I have stayed in. Start a load of towels and a load of dishes, and make sure garbage gets taken out. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent in every way!

I live near the beach and this was, by far, one of my TOP FIVE beach stays (I'd actually say 2nd best to Key West) of all time! This house is perfect size. We had 8 people (6 adults and 2 kids) in the house all week (sleeping) with several other adults in and out over our stay and we had plenty of room for everyone! The beds were VERY comfortable (which is rare in a rental), the kitchen was stocked and roomy, there were plenty of towels, plenty of parking, loved the boat dock (we live within an hours drive so we brought our boat for the out of state family). The breezes were amazing, front and back. There are only 4 houses on this row, this is house #2 and our family was the only one's there all week and we had the entire private beach area to ourselves the whole time. There are tv's in every room, plenty of extra blankets/pillows and the house is pet friendly (so I didn't have to board my 2 dogs). Its a very short walk across the street to the Gulf side, but honestly, we loved just beaching on the bay side. Plenty of places to wash sand off before entering the house. I tell you, it was ALL perfect. I've never stayed in a place that I would rent again but this one, 100% a future rental. DIBR (April) was so easy to work with. They were very helpful with reminder texts about trash, etc. Everything was sooooo easy and all of the guests there LOVED the house and location. We WILL be back!

We loved our stay at this property! The location was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed being on the bay side. The walk to the gulf side was less than 5 minutes, which was also convenient. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us.

Good vacation house especially for the location. The most important things were in great condition this includes comfortable beds, toilet, plumbing, garbage disposal water pressure, hot water. Heater. And cold air conditioning system. I did notice the dryer does not seem too dry.Very well, not sure if that's going to have to be replaced.Soon. but I appreciated the fact that all of the appliances were in good working order and clean.I also appreciated the fact that we had a vacuum cleaner mop and broom to do a daily cleaning. As some of us are o c d...haha. it was also nice because we did not have anyone renting houses next to us.So we felt like we had a lot of privacy. We only had one minor issue.Whoever rented the house before us left the commercial outside.Trash can overflowing with trash. And it was stinky and smelly, and nobody else could put trash in it. Other than that, we appreciate our stay.If we go back to the island we will more than likely went this house again. Warm regards, J. BUSH
