Outstanding property!

Clean, inviting, and comfortable! Communication with the owner was timely and friendly, and the availability of beach items at the home was a plus. Highly recommend for a small (3-4 people) family!

Great location!

We had a great stay here, we loved being close to the beach and having ice cream shops and restaurants so close by. The layout of the house is very nice for a family or couple- enough rooms and beds for everyone and a comfy couch for hanging out. We loved the deck and being able to see the water and bird watch!

Fall Break at the Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tiki Hut on Dauphin Island. The home was perfect and the views and area was lovely. John, the host, provided the needed beach items that our family would need at the beach. It was wonderful not having to pack the extra beach items as it was so graciously provided to be used. The trek to the beach was a little hard in the sand with things in tow, but we managed and the kids and us adults loved playing for hours. We caught a blue crab, a hermit crab and found endless shells and lots of core memories were made that we will treasure forever. We also explored the island in our Jeep and went to the suggested tourist attractions. We played Goofy Golf, visited the Alabama Aquarium, toured Fort Gaines, and ate at Pirates Grill and Bar. We loved the island and can’t wait to return. The Tiki Hut was the perfect, safe place to stay and relax. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Nice location

Loved the location of the house. Just a short walk to the beach. The house has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The AC works great and keeps it nice and cool. The only complaint I have is that the beds could use an upgrade. Overall this place is a great stay!

Wonderful beach trip to end the summer

We had such a comfortable stay at this beach house. We had everything we needed. The beds and couches were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and updated. We really appreciated the info about local restaurants, and the kids loved the ocean decor. The walk to the beach was very reasonable and we really appreciated that there was a little wagon for us to bring everything more easily. The beach itself was beautiful and we only had a few neighbors down the way. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it!

Great Location

It rained most of our trip but we still had the best time!! This place is awesome! The teenagers loved the bikes & kayaks! The shops are close by, just a bike ride away. The house was clean & the decor is so beachy! The online pictures are accurate. The neighborhood was great as well! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing week!

This property was great, owner was very responsive to questions, house had all we needed! Make sure to read the “helpful information” book when you get there and not like us that read it before leaving as our son got ate up by no- seeums and we had no idea what got him until we read the book! That’s on us! We had a fantastic week!

Great Location

Very happy with our experience! Flags were double red all week due to a tropical storm, but the kayaks and inlet area saved the trip. Beach walk was manageable. The area was quiet and felt very safe.

Community, property, beach house & accommodations were great. Had enough parking area for our 2 vehicles & a utility trailer. The host was nice enough to work with our schedule change at the last minute. I would definitely reach out again if we return to the area!

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay at the Tiki Hut! The house was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Beach access is right across the street, and since there's no public parking lot the beach is only lightly used here. We checked out the public beach further down the island (which does have parking) and this beach was so much better! So the house is completely worth it just for being able to walk to this lovely beach. We LOVED having the bikes to ride around on, and the beach cart, toys, and chairs came in really handy because we drove so far to get here, and couldn't have brought all that stuff. So it made beach going more comfortable. It was a great week, and we'll definitely be back. :)

Beautiful home and location. Very clean. Very nice home owner, and a nice quiet neighborhood. Short 5 minute walk to the beautiful ocean behind the house. Will very much be back to the Island and hopefully this home.
