スタッフはとても親切で、オーナーの女性の方は日本語も話せて滞在中は特に困ることもなかったです。 日本らしいおかずを作って下さいとリクエストするととんかつやみそ汁も作っていただけました。 景色はとてもすばらしく非常にのんびりと過ごすことができました。 イルカを見に行くツアーに申し込んだのですが、朝7時出発でサンドイッチを朝食に用意して頂けたのはうれしかったです。 次回ボホールにきたらまた、ここでのんびりと過ごしたいです。

hotellet var lugnt, nästan inga gäster än oss. ligger lite off, långt ifrån affärer och rörelser. Stranden är inte lämplig för bad, ingen "vitstrand". Frukosten var inte så imponerande. Det fanns Myror överallt! Men ägaren och hennes dotter var super trevliga och serviceinriktande och gjorde sitt bästa för att få oss att trivas.

management and kitchen staff need education

Management needs look at kitchen 11/2 hours to provide and prepare meals for 2 couples seem to be excessive and over stating of sight seeing items was a turn off to me when asked about how many steps or how steep climbs were to get to things was greatly miss informed if I had been told the truth there were some places I would not have gone to very disappointed

Nice but far

Nice and clean hotel but it's in the middle of nowhere. If you're planning not to do anything, this is the place for you. This is far from the beach, restaurants or any other resorts. The hotel charges 550 pesos one way to Alona beach. Not much to do in the area and there is no snorkeling contrast to what expedia says in their website. They have a restaurant with good food but you'll have to wait very long before you get your food. Internet is very slow as well.

Charming family operated facility

Staying at Sherwood was a pleasant surprise. Enid and her Daughter Elisa really care about their guests. They even took care of a cut on one of my foot. I had reservation for only one night and they did all they could to open two extra nights. The place is very relaxing, nice pool even used for Scuba diving practices, great food (breakfast variety could change from day to day though), there is no real beach but the view is magic. They arrange transportation easily to anywhere in Bohol, the place is a little bit isolated but that's part of its charm. I'd come back without reservations.

Terrible stay at this hotel

My wife and I took a trip to Bohol in May and we booked a 3 night stay at this hotel. Check-in time is 2 PM. We did show up early and the owner allowed us to put the luggage in the room before check in time. We did ask that air conditioning to be turned on for the few hours before check-in. The owner said that would an additional charge! When we did get in the room, the room smelled of ant spray. When we mentioned it, the owner said that they sprayed for ants because they have a big problem at the hotel. We wanted another room. They showed us a room next to ours and it was filled with ants. We were stuck because our driver left for the day. We stayed the night but wanted to check out the next day. We asked for a refund. The owner refused saying no refunds. I said that it was unacceptable to spray ant poison in the room. She still refused. We left and I had to deal with the credit card company for a refund of the unused nights. Do not stay at this place. The owners will take your money and do nothing for your comfort. The hotel is nice but it's located in a trashy poor neighborhood off a dirt road. Food was terrible, the eating are was not air conditioned. You would be best served somewhere else. This owner has no morals.
