This was our second time being back at the Da Fuskie Dreams property. As always our stay was delightful. The house was clean, tidy, and decorated beautifully. We did not spend much time inside the home as the front porch is what dreams are made of. The swinging bed and outdoor table are highlights of this beautiful home.

Wonderful location and lovely place to stay

My family and I vacationed here for a week, and we enjoyed every moment. The home, property, and location were excellent. It was just a short walk to the coffee shop and right next to the road that leads straight to the beach. The Check in and out process was easy, and the communication from the property manager was thorough and friendly. We would love to come back again soon!

Quiet and Relaxing

This was a great getaway for a quiet long weekend. We brought out dogs and enjoyed walking and letting them play on the beach. The screen porch is a perfect place for a nap.

Quiet wooded beach oasis

My wife and I loved the place. Very quiet wooded setting with a short bike ride or golf cart trip to the beach. House was very nice and the porch was great. Love the swinging futon. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful getaway!

This was my family’s fifth time staying at DaFuskie Dreams, and our 6th visit to DI. The home is the perfect size for our family and a great location, just a short cart ride to the beach. Very private, clean, and maintained. We LOVE relaxing on the porch swing. Host is very responsive and informative. Always a great stay!

Absolutely beautiful home! Perfect gateway for us. Deborah was more than accommodating!

Wonderful Stay at your house on Daufuski Island

We had a wonderful time on Daufuski Island. The house was wonderful. It was very clean and had all of the starting amenities needed. The rental group checking in on us by text the first day and after the first night to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a great vacation. We loved the porch!

Cozy, Clean and Private

This was our second time staying in this cottage. We love the beachy charm and cleanliness. Most of all, we prized the privacy of the location - tucked back off School Road. Sitting around the firepit at night is so relaxing as is taking a nap on the swinging bed on the screened in porch. Management was attentive to our needs and readily available if needed. Can't wait to return!

Fabulous

The Dreams house was everything we needed and more. The well-stocked kitchen allowed me to cook meals for our family all week. There were books sharing the history of Daufuskie. Nice location, very quick cart ride to the beach. The best part about our stay, though was Deb. She was incredibly helpful when the power went out on our first night and was very responsive to any needs we had all week. 10/10 would recommend this property!

As always I enjoyed my stay. Debra is a fabulous hostessed. The home was properly equipped with everything you'll need to make a great meal. The rooms and the upstairs are nice comforting and relaxing. The fire pit is an awesome addition. The front...WOW. You'll want to spend all your time on the front porch. This is a must book. Great if you're traveling alone or as a couple. Cheers!

Enjoyable spring break

This property was good, but has the potential to be really, really great. Deb, the property manager, was wonderful. She called us the day before to assist with any last minute travel arrangements. She also met us at the property upon our arrival, and texted us various eating options throughout the week. She was kind and very responsive. The location of the home is great. Very private and lots of outdoor space. My kids and dog enjoy exploring outside. There is a great opportunity to increase overall experience of this home as cleanliness was definitely a factor. The first day, we found a dirty hand towel which Deb immediately apologized and offered us a nominal credit which was appreciated. After that, we found several other cleanliness issues throughout the week. We didn't want to keep bothering Deb, although I'm sure she would have taken care of them. Instead, we did forward her a list of the issues after checkout so they can be fixed for next time. Deb shared that the house is scheduled for a deep clean next week so the next guests will get to enjoy it even more. Once the cleanliness and linen issues are corrected, this property will truly be 5+ stars.

Paradise

Deb and team were phenomenal as my 2 year old unfortunately got sick day 2. However, Deb and others went above and beyond to assure we got her medicine from Hilton Head over to the island. Wonderful experience and beautiful, peaceful, serene home.

Beautiful home! Relaxing island!

We really enjoyed our stay on Daufuskie! It’s definitely a laid back, relaxing environment. The beaches are really remote! No touristy crowds! The house was absolutely beautiful. Comfortable, clean, adorably decorated. Deb was extremely helpful as well. Ask a lot of questions before you journey to the island…everyone is willing to help. I would highly advise using the private water taxis and packing whatever you want! Bring groceries to cook and enjoy on the deck.

Our first (and hopefully not last) trip to DI

We loved our stay in the little cottage in the woods! It was so cute and cozy! The house was clean and Deb was very kind and helpful. The bed/swing got a lot of use whether for relaxing, reading, or napping! The ride to the beach seemed to get shorter and shorter as our stay went on! The location within walking distance to the coffee shop was so convenient! Our drives around the island on our cart were so much fun and we loved exploring! Our family really wants to return one day for another stay!

40th birthday weekend

The house was perfect. Excellent use of space. The house isn't huge but we had 8 adults, a 9 year old and a baby and there was plenty of space. Three bathrooms were a great help. We spent every night sitting on the giant screened in porch playing games and catching up with each other. My husband said it was his best birthday ever.

Truly relaxing vacation

We felt right at home on the island and in our beach house. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals "at home" and we also enjoyed the couple of restaurants on the island. We went to the beach every day and explored all we could in our golf cart. Our hostess was very attentive and informative. I would highly, highly recommend !

Girls Trip

Our vacation on Daufuski was amazing from start to finish. Arriving at our rental house was so exciting. It is swt back in the woods a little away from the road. It is so charming and special. We enjoyed most of out time on the front porch swing listening to the sound of nature. It was wonderful.

Perfect house!

My family of 5 plus our labradoodle thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. The house was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed. We were here for 5 days and did not want to leave. Daufuskie is an amazing place and this house made it that much better. Plenty of room for everyone and very close to many of the attractions that bring you here including the beach.
