The rooms are quiet in spite of being located right in the middle of the city center. I would recommend it for short stay business travelers. The internet speed is good throughout the entire premises. The rooms are spacious though mine was stuffy, with a smell of dampness from the carpet. The shower was only warm, wouldn't get hot( :( quite a bummer if you love hot showers) though the well stocked tea counter compensated. Tea/coffee lovers would actually like the fact that they restocked every single day. Room service was great, fast though the lack of menus in the room, kind of prolonged the process of ordering food from the room.
Excellent location Of The hotel, big rooms with all facilities. Excellent breakfast layout. Manager Pravin thumbs up. All staff have been very helpful. Would highly recommend the hotel for holiday with family and business. Subhash

Pls. arranged hotel system for sleep and used cafe shop for eating. Thanks and Best Regards
I stayed here several times basically because the Priority Pass rewards The rooms needs a total renovation. Rooms still has carpets that are dirty and very smelly. the minute you switch off the air con you cannot breathe,. the shower and the bath also has to be revamped and urgently so. the shower and the bath, you cannot place your body there as you can clearly see you can catch fungus. . The staff is nice very welcoming and supportive
We visited Dar Es Sallam from 1/03/18 to 3/03/18 where we were on business. we were supposed to be at the same hotel for three nights but had to cancel and leave in an emergency because of the following: (1) The rooms needs a total revamp. Rooms still has carpets that are dirty and very smelly. they blow air cons to hide the smell. the minute you switch off the air con you cannot breathe, especially if you are asthmatic like myself, you will have asthma attack and rooms not ideal for any human beings to sleep there. (2) the toilet is a total disaster, one cannot use the toilet that is so low and about to fall being so close to the ground. please get modern toilets. (3) the shower and the bath also has to be revamped and urgently so. the shower and the bath, you cannot place your body there as you can clearly see you can catch fungus. keep these things clean guys. (4) they checked me in the room that they didn't replace the pillow cases, it was clear that someone was sleeping on those pillow cases and they left them on for the next guest to use. please guys you need to be concerned about your customers well being. hygiene is very important and you in the hospitality industry you should be the ones to know this better. (5) You have a safe in the rooms for a reason, please make sure that you prepare a room and the safe is in working condition. I had to make trips to reception to get the safe repaired. imagine being tired and you had to deal with all this? (6) dampness on the walls also a reason for smelly rooms. (7) had dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor next to the lobby. who will ever half cooked Ox-tail? only Holiday Inn Dar Es Salaam will do that and note the meat was so hard that you couldn't even cut with the knife? (8) We then thought food was bad and we should try a desert, what a shock to be told that they do not have a desert menu. the waitress said will read for us and we must listen? N.B. Holiday Inn Management: Please close the hotel for a reasonable period and allow real maintenance to be done if you want to retain a little of those customers you still have. You also need to get proper training to your staff and have a menu for what you prepare in your kitchen.
I am writing this review when I am really tired. Forgive my typos and grammatical errors. I will review the feedback tomorrow. I stayed for six nights at the holiday inn hotel in February 2018. I had a bad experience at the hotel. Room service - I ordered everyday at the hotel for 6 six. The food was the worst part of the experience. My ordered usually arrived within an hour of ordering it. I mean an hour to prepare the food. Sad. The food was never consistent. The food would always taste different each time you order it. Housekeeping - The staff would wake me up 9AM even when I had the do not disturb lights on. My room would be cleaned when I would specifically ask for it to be not cleaned. On some days when I would ask the room to be clean, it would not be. Reception - Missed calling me back on several occasions. Sad to say I faced so many problems at what I considered to be a good hotel. If you plan to eat your food somewhere else, not stay at the hotel much, then this is the hotel for you. Otherwise if you want a class service, find someplace else.
We stayed at the holiday in, AGAIN on our way to and from our vacation in Zanzibar and my kids loved it. The reservation communication with Mr Pravin and Mr. Christopher was very smooth. They ensured our check in, stay and check out was perfect. Mr. Christopher even offered toys to my kids. We requested for inter connecting rooms, and with my kids having their own room, ensured me and my wife were comfortable and at ease as we could check on them all the time. The breakfast, as usual didn't disappoint, we loved the coconut juice and the njegere za nazi, the variety didn't disappoint either. Thank you Holiday Inn.
Was quite a good stay with warm and hospitable staff. Our flight to Dar was delayed but our hotel pick up at airport was patient and waited. On getting to the hotel l was pleasantly surprised at the energy though it was well past 1am.. Room was nice, comfortable and quiet and the kitchen was able to make me a quick meal. The coffee stations in the room were well stocked and for a lover of tea like me, it was a good plus to my stay. Stay was smooth with a chance to enjoy the outdoor pool, though small, but was a nice addition to the hotel. Came in a few weeks later and l would keep coming again as its a special place to be.
Holiday Inn in located in the city centre it has spacious rooms with great city view. The breakfast is fantastic with a variety to choose from. The hotel has a rooftop bar with great music DJ and sometimes live band that plays there. They also provide room service. Front desk staff are very helpful while the reservations manager is great I was able to negotiate for my rates thanks.
What a blast!!I enjoyed my stay in this hotel! The staff are so amazing, friendly and very accommodating. I like the ambience, food and the beer at the rooftop of this hotel. I remembered the staff is always asking me if I have enjoyed my stay in the hotel and I answered him with a smile and big thumbs up plus the tip!!! 👍👍👍
