Stayed here as it was race weekend at VIR and everything better was sold out. Our room had bed covers with cigarette burns all over them and reeked of cigarette smoke. When opening the windows, the screen was torn, but since it is below grade looking into a strip mall parking lot you can't keep it open for long anyway. We still paid a high premium rate but the place is anything but. Won't go back. Consider other options, esp for that pricepoint. Wyndham should quality control.

Stopped here on the way to the NASCAR race at Martinsville. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room. No complaints.
I recently booked a room on this site for a weekend stay. When I got to my room (#205), the door for the room kept creaking loudly. The toilet has issues when you try to flush. Also, when I turned the tv on, there were white lines taking up about 20% of the top. I complained about this to the front desk staff and all she could say was she could not change the room because it was the only room that is allowed through this site. I was not pleased and these things need to be fixed!
I was just there long enough to sleep. I have a hospital bed at home so it was difficult to sleep. Next night your staff got me more pillows and my roommate put them under mattress this time. Had a pretty good night sleep doing it that way. Microwave and fridge was nice to have. The weather was great while we were there. I am with a biker church in Columbia, SC and we came to help out VCC with their fundraiser.
Hotel was an okay place to stay. Cons: Wire towel rack was pulled out of the wall. Bed spread had burn hole in it. Wi-Fi internet was slow and had to connect to it quite a few times. Pros: Staff was very helpful during our late check in. Cleaning staff did a great job and we very friendly. Hotel price was very reasonable
Hotel location was great. It was located in the parking lot with a grocery store, a Subway, and a mexican restaraunt. It was in walking distance of a gas station and several other eating places. Now for the cons.. I didn't know South Boston was primarily an all black town. If you're black then you might like to stay here, if you're white, get ready to be stared at. I have never been stared at so much. I lived with my 4 black friends in a 5 bedroom house in college and never felt uncomfortable. Some of the people in town couldn't help but want to make you feel uncomfortable. The other hotel occupants were noisy. Running in and out of each other's rooms. Running up and down the halls at one in the morning. Random people knocking on my hotel room. Our toilet also wouldn't flush. We stayed for 3 nights and they didn't clean our hotel room in between days, make our beds, or give us new towels.
They reserved a Handicap room [...].. They gave me another room as I requested. This room smelled like garbage was in it. We looked all over the room especially under the bed to see if in deed there was garbage there. I decided to dish out more cash to get a room at the Holiday Exprees Hotel down the Street. $72.00 for Super 8 wasted. Why does Super 8's room always smell so bad? This is my Third and last times booking Super 8's.

For the price this was a nice clean room with plenty of space
First got to the hotel, had to wait in line for 10 minutes because the cashier was having an issue with a customer. I finally got to the room, notice that there was no iron or board. The room was reasonably clean. Internet service as free and fast which was plus. All night, doors opening and closing, very noisy hotel with thin walls. The whole morning, I could here people down the hall fussing. I would recommend for a short overnight stay, only if you are by yourself. It is poor for a family trip.
