The gîte directly overlooks the Conche des Oisiliers (small private waterway), awning to keep it cool, close to the Sèvre Niortaise and the Damvix pier. This single-story house consists of a living room/lounge/kitchen (wood stove), a shower room/WC, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed) (2 single beds). Wifi. Smart TV. Outside: private terrace overlooking the Conche des Oisiliers (garden furniture, deckchairs, barbecue) and adjoining shaded green space. Shared with the other gîte: pétanque court, car parking. Rowboats, canoes, and pedal boats are available free of charge at any time (2 rowboats, 2 canoes, 1 pedal boat), with life jackets and maps. Fishing is available on site. Shops are available (bakery, convenience store, butcher, honey house, pharmacy, doctor). Small market on Wednesdays. Public swimming pool open summer afternoons in Benet (13km). Lake Xanton-Chassenon is 19km away. Scarecrow Festival in Damvix starting in May (fun, signposted 3km walking trail lasting 1 hour).
Bicycle rentals are available at the Damvix pier (10m away).
