Smells terrible , rooms are in a very bad condition . Worst hotel experience
I am a repeat customer, and I have to say, after this last stay, I may NEVER go back! The lady at the front lacked customer service skills. No greet, no smile, & attitude! Then asked for a CASH deposit (not use to them doing that) Made me very upset. Then we waited forever to check in, after she said we had to wait until 2, which was like 4 minutes away, and we still end up starting the process close to 2:30 smh. So we get to our room, no iron, a bad smell, & dirty pillow cases!! Ugh! I couldn't even rest right away. They brung an iron hours later.. Never fixed the other problems. I had to go buy sanitizing wipes and spray, PLUS walk down to the maid to get the pillow cases myself & put them on after I realized they where never coming. Upon check out, little man also lacked customer service skills, and acted confused about us paying a cash deposit (I knew it didn't seem right)!! On top of that, wouldn't give deposit until security checked the room! Wish they moved that fast when I needed new cases! They never did a courtesy call, which we've always gotten & if things weren't right we got a new room. They sucked this time around. Might try the LA Quinta next to it or else where! I won't come bk if they have that same rude, nasty staff!
Motel feel in a hotel building. Bathroom was dirty... hair in the sink and tub. Lobby door card reader not working properly... after talking to staff, it seems it will not be fixed anytime soon.
Had the room booked for five nights and left after the first night! Roaches in the room everywhere! Shady people drunk in the halls all night fighting and yelling. Staff would not refund any of our money as we were required to pay all five nights at check-in. Lost over $300 when we left after first day but would have lost $1,000 just to get out of there!!!
The hotel is good for short stay. It's located next to In & Out burger, very convenience. It's pretty quiet considering located next to freeway.
Don't get this hotel if you're expecting something nice. The beds are uncomfortable there was hair all over the shower. We didn't feel safe at all. The AC sounded like a mixture of gun shots and a lawn mower. The smell in the hotel was awful.
The hotel is infested with cockroaches. I went to use the bathroom. While I was sitting on the toilet, I saw a smash cockroach on the side of the bathtub. I woke up around 3 AM to use the restroom. Their were between 15-20 cockroaches that scattered into crevasses in the walls as soon as I turned on the lights. So I checked the room with a flashlight from my phone and found 6 cockroaches walking on the walls, not including the carpet. I closed my luggage and left it in my car. The place is attempting to remodel. They had fresh paint through out the hotel and room. The hotel looks very fancy. The problem is they are infested with cockroaches.
I was initially put in the older part of the building, it was not pleasant. The hallway smelled bad and so did the room! I put in a complaint and was moved to the newer part which was WAY better! The front desk gentleman was very nice, and helpful! We are right next to in and out burger, right off the highway and a CVS was close by.
Super cheap hotel, $50 a night. But expect to make sacrifices with such a low price. Room not very clean. Bedsheets were clean, but carpet was not clean and there was hair on the towels. On the intersection of coit and 635 so not a very safe area. Overall good deal if you're looking to skimp and pay as little as possible. Has a pool. Has security by having to use a key scanner to enter the area past the lobby.
This hotel smells bad and not clean . They don't clean the bed sheets and all appliances are old and broken. My advice avoid this hotel unless it is the last choice
I HAD A GREAT OVERNIGHT STAY, AND THE RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR WAS SO CONVENIENT. I WOULD STAY AGAIN AND AGAIN.
I really enjoyed my stay, quiet, pet friendly, very relaxing and close by a CVS, as well as near a Starbucks and In-n-Out. The staff let me check in two hours early which was extremely nice because of the long drive I had had. The pool was gorgeous, along with the relaxing jacuzzi. There is a smoking area at the front and middle of the hotel. Very safe with 24 hour security. The rooms are extremely clean couldn't have been happier with my stay!
Upon check-in, I had to pay a $50.00 room deposit before I could even check in. Also, they say pets are allowed but with a $10.00 fee per day. None of this information was provided by the non-hotel reservation center. Had I known, I would not have booked this room The room I got was small and had liquid spilled on the bed and bed pillows. Then I was asked to pack up and move to a junior suite for all my trouble. I must have walked back and forth to the front desk at least 15 times just to get things straightened out The new room was a little bigger than the first and there was NO telephone in the room. Luckily for me, In N Out Burger is right next door, so I was able to fill up on that. The 635 LBJ freeway is totally under construction so getting around was the pits. Also, there is no continental breakfast at all. Just coffee pots in the lobby. There ARE small coffee makers in the room if you want to make your own. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Sure it's cheap, but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for.
Perfect price for a place that here in Colorado would charge 3 times as much.
I was very dissatisfied with this hotel. From the moment I drove up and noted a typed sign on the sliding door advertising" Now Hiring for all positions" I was skepitical. The room was paid in full, but I was still required to have my credit card blocked for $50. There was no work out facility, the toliet in my room ran constantly, the air conditioner was very loud and the bed was very uncomfortable- as I could feel the bed springs the minute I sat on the bed. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family.
We reserved a suite with two double beds via a travel agency website and it was confirmed through my email that this was indeed the case. We had to travel to Dallas to attend an event at 5 PM. We arrived at 2 PM only to be informed that there were no rooms available and after complaining about this were informed that the travel agency search engine does not coordinate well with the hotel's computer services and hence the miscommunication via cyberspace. We informed the manager about our event and that this was unacceptable and he was kind enough to allow us entry into an unoccupied suite for three hours free of charge which we gladly took but still were upset. We got to the suite and the cleaning lady was still there and we waited for 20 minutes outside in the hallway before it was complete. The carpets in the hallway were dusty, there was very little lighting, and the hotel seemed like it was the one used for the film set for "Barton Fink." What was really upsetting was that at the end of the hallway there were two sofas and a small table that you could barely make out but it was very dark because of lack of lighting. Once again a dark tunnel to reach comfort. Pretty much the only thing that I can say about the cleanliness of this hotel was the male restroom for public use which I was completely surprised by. After twenty minutes waiting we finally got to the suite, showered, and got ready to head out. The suite, although there were non-smoking signs on pretty much every location possible, reeked of cigarettes. Once we were ready I turned in the key to the manager thanking him for the use of the suite. No fault on this guy because he was nice but I don't know what is going on in that hotel that makes for a very Kafkaesque experience...
The room was VERY sanitary, the staff was PLEASANT and HELPFUL, GREAT location near a main street. The ONLY PROBLEM was the breakfast offered to the staying/visiting guest.... danishes, bread, waffles, cereal, orange juice, coffee (which was offered in the room also..), when i looked on the pictures on the website it gives a FALSE appearance of a HOT breakfast which would've been VERY MUCH APPRECIATED from an out of towner.
I would describe this hotel as a 2 stars not 3 stars hotel. Cutting corners too much, no AC on hallways, breakfast shown on pic. totally not the case, instead a cold and limited continental selection.
