Short weekend in Plano
7 of us travelled to Plano for a family member’s graduation. The house was in a decent neighborhood with street parking readily available. We spent 3 nights there without hanging around the property for much more than to sleep. For that purpose the house served us well. The downstairs beds were comfortable and the rooms worked well for the grandkids and grandparents. The kitchen had the basic necessities to be able to make coffee and a quick breakfast each morning. We didn’t cook meals there but it seemed there was enough dishes and cookware to do so. Upstairs the other bedroom was spacious but the bed mattress is not very nice. The whole place could use some TLC, drawers that would fall out of cabinets in the bathroom, a nail head poking thru a stair tread, and bushes that were impeding the walkway to the front door. Regardless, it was a nice location and served our purpose well. Had we needed to spend a lot of time in the home I might look at staying somewhere else.
