The home and the grounds are spacious and beautiful. For our family reunion, there was plenty of space for hanging out inside and outside. With the weather being beautiful during our stay, we were able to do our family portrait photo shoot in the backyard area. The guest house worked out great for the grandparents without stairs. Our host was responsive and accommodating.

Check-in was a breeze! The property is spacious. Home is layed out in an open design that flows well for gathering as well as cozy spaces to retreat for peaceful solitude. It was the perfect space for our group.

I cannot tell you what a blessing this amazing home was to our family. My son and his fiancé booked the Avalon Legacy Ranch for their wedding on August 23rd. We were able to commute back and forth to the venue which saved us BIG TIME as we had left everything we had purchased in one of the fridges for the charcuterie boards/table. It was a save the day moment!!! I spoke to the owner on a few occasions. Extremely helpful no matter what I needed. The house is beautiful, the land, the pool refreshing the tennis courts all fantastic!

The house (particularly the outside) didn’t seem guest-ready when we arrived. The pool hadn’t been cleaned, grass wasn’t mowed, upstairs wasn’t cool in the house. We were able to get everything fixed, and then the house was great after that. Perfect for large groups. Just wish we hadn’t lost the time to wait for everything to be ready!

We enjoyed the open space, ball courts and pool area. Our group had plenty of indoor space and amenities too. (We did run into issues with not having enough hot water in the main house for people to comfortably shower...and only 7 people were staying in that space.)

Ram the owner was excellent to deal with while at the property. He provided excellent service. Fridge for outdoor kitchen went out and he replaced it first day we were there. We had some A/C issues he got corrected first day. There were some lighting issues on the tennis courts which he corrected the second day when we needed them. He sent a pool guy out to clean the pool. He hooked up a water hose to the slide for the kids. He put basketball nets on both goals. He let us tape off a pickleball court on the tennis courts so we could play pickleball. He was very responsive during our entire stay.

Country feel super close to city; rooster next door, pond to catch bluegill. Plenty of space to gather together or relax in separate areas inside and out.

Very spacious

Good size great for big families. Missing some kitchen items like a griddle and some new pots and pans and utensils . Also those pillows and beds are not comfortable. Should have had thicker quilts due to cold weather. Besides all the negative things we made it work.

Wedding Weekend

Had family in town for daughter’s wedding. Place was a perfect spot for small gatherings in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Plenty of space inside and out. Overall great value and exactly what we needed. Only issue was trying to find the house at night was a bit of a challenge but got it figured out.

Mom/Sons getaway weekend

We picked this listing because of the location, amenities and size since we had a group of about 20 people, mom’s and 10-12 yr old boys. It was great for our large group. The grass was long and itchy so a mowed path down to the pond would have been nice. Overall, the house just needs some sprucing up - it seems worn and in need of some TLC. More bath towels are definitely needed, and some additional, softer pillows would be a nice to have as the ones available were all very hard. We definitely enjoyed our stay and appreciate the use of the property for our getaway!

Perfect place for our large group

We brought 12 teenagers (and adults too) to this property for both fun and study time. It was amazing! So much space! Our teens LOVED the basketball court especially! Plenty of places to sleep and spread out. We encountered a broken water heater that affected one of the bathrooms so that was a bummer but the owner was doing his best to get it fixed for us. Stuff happens. We would definitely book here again!!

Excellent place for the kids to roam and the adults to relax

12 of us -- 3 generations -- enjoyed the house for a long weekend. The kids braved the pool, while the adults stuck to the hot tub (weather was cool). Trips to the pond and "barn," and a guest house for those of us who enjoyed quiet while the others whooped it up in the main house. Would definitely return for another Dallas-area stay. Host was exceptionally accommodating and helpful.
