I also hate to leave bad reviews, I really hate it but I have to say my experience. Unprofessional stay and poor communication regarding lost propertyI checked out after only two days of my stay due to numerous issues with the property and a general feeling of being unwelcome.Facilities & Amenities:• Missing Essentials: The unit lacked basic necessities including WiFi, hot water, and a proper bed/bedroom.• Electrical Issues: The AC/heating is a manual unit that cannot be operated at the same time as the microwave without power issues.• Noise: Significant noise disturbances from both the floor above and the garage.Host Experience:While the hosts were initially friendly and even spent time talking with me on the first day, the atmosphere felt performative rather than genuinely welcoming. I felt there was a lack of transparency regarding the living arrangements, as I expected more privacy. I also felt a distinct lack of inclusivity, as the environment seemed tailored specifically to those of a certain religious background rather than a general travelerCritical Issue:The most concerning part of this experience is that I lost my wallet at the property. I have reached out to the hosts for assistance, but they have been completely unresponsive. Whether it was found or not, the lack of communication regarding a guest's lost valuables is unacceptable.Final Verdict: I cannot recommend this stay. Overall a great stay! Our only negative would be that the hot water in the shower didn’t last very long before it was only cold. Being close enough to walk down to the lake for New Years fireworks was awesome!
