The Place You Want to Stay
This spot was an incredible find! While it's location was a little obscure, the accommodations themselves were exceptionally comfortable, clean, and more than adequate for my travel needs. It included all the little extras - not only a full kitchen to prepare (or simply reheat) food, but also little extras like a spatula for any of your baking or frying needs.
The hostess, Ms. Assiata (ah-see-AH-tah) Fall, was extremely helpful and accommodating in every way, and was exceedingly knowledgeable about ... well ... EVERYTHING - from sights to see; to where to shop for anything you might want; to how much a taxi should cost you to get to your destinations, and anything else you might ask of her. A former tour guide herself, she is also intimately familiar not only with the standard tourist attractions, but also with the little hidden gems, off the beaten path, of which your itinerary might not be informed.
Her facility is very safe, with locked doors and an overnight sentry, and a trustworthy support team that ensures your every need or concern is addressed to your satisfaction. And she has a few white-collar professionals who choose her complex as a semi-permanent or recurring residence. So, it makes for a pleasant and organically-social living environment. And Ms. Fall also has a restaurant on the premises, providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner to interested guests; room service; and she will even accommodate custom culinary requests with reasonable advance notice, so that she can shop for the freshest ingredients.
The neighborhood itself is very safe, although it is currently (as of Dec 2022) undergoing construction, due to residential and commercial growth in the area. So, the access roads could be a little better. Still there are businesses in the area that seem to function 24 hours a day, so there are always people out socializing and milling about, if you are willing to walk a few blocks to find them. The area in the immediate proximity of Ms. Fall's apartment complex, however, is very secluded and quiet.
