The hotel is lovely and is situated on the sea. The views from the breakfast area is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was good. The 4th floor did have a weird smell about but the hotel itself was great. Good friendly service. Overall 5 stars

I was so impressed with my stay at the Pullman Teranga. From the moment I checked in (Fatou and Ali at the front desk were extremely helpful and courteous) I knew I had made the right choice in booking the Pullman for my vacation stay in Dakar! I stayed in the "City-View" room, which is the most basic room the hotel offers- but it was anything but basic! Spacious, modern, sleek design. Excellent bathroom with a shower that had actual water pressure. Little things that make a difference in your stay such as Ironw/ironing board, good quality hair dryer, comfortable bath robes, safe, mini fridge, complimentary water bottles, plenty of outlets throughout the room, and high quality Bigelow toiletry products! The Lounge/Restaurant downstairs is beautiful. The view from the outside dining area is BEAUTIFUL! I am a super foodie, and was thoroughly impressed with the dining options offered. I ordered A LOT of room service, which in many cases can be pretty mediocre at most hotels... not here. The Teranga breakfast is a smorgasbord of pastries, fruit, cheese, meats, omelette, coffee, tea and fresh juice! The Breakfast Buffet offered daily downstairs is also to die for. I have never seen so many tasty options in one place. From pancakes, crepes, freshly made yogurts of all flavors, breads, potatoes, made-to-order egg dishes.... it goes on and on. Yes, it is on the pricy side (30 US) but that's normal for hotels. The Highlight of my stay though was Elisabeth from Housekeeping!! I know, I know.... normally I rarely interact with house keeping as they usually clean the room while I am out exploring the city, but this was a lazy vacation for me which includes sleeping in very late. So most of the time I was in the room while housekeeping cleaned. Elisabeth with her amazing smile and cheerful attitude was amazing! She cleaned thoroughly, quickly, and efficiently. Left the room sparkling clean with plenty of towels and replacement robes and fresh water! Her happy attitude was contagious and the Pullman is lucky to have her! Overall, one of the best vacations I have ever had and the Pullman will definitely be the hotel I recommend to anyone I know that will be coming to Dakar! Thank you to all the staff!!!!

Perfect for my 2-week stay on business in Dakar. It provides a sense of space and privacy: space around the hotel with the sea view on one side and a large public square on the other (see my pictures); space inside comfortable rooms (modern stylish African design); and privacy thanks to a very respectful, courteous and friendly personnel. Food is very varied and breakfast is so complete that I could easily (and conveniently) skip lunch. Besides, the neighbourhood is well known for its restaurants (ps: do not miss "Lagon" restaurant only 40m from Pullman!). I've had a very positive impression of Dakar, not the least thanks to my stay in that hotel.

Food is always the same. You feel like living in military barracks with the interdictions they have. So noisy with daily works. No ability to improve your service. If you need something to be changed you'll never be attended.

I spent 3 days in the hotel, the room is not too bad, the food is average in the buffet however, I had an incredibly delicious pizza by the snack bar. Wifi is excellent all around the hotel. The view on the Atlantic was superb and the pool is also decent. I would go back if I have to be in town.

Nice rooms and lovely toiletries, we got a sea view room on the 10th floor with a terrace and the view was simply breathtaking . From the outside you would not think the hotel looks beautiful but once you walk into the hotel, from the reception it has such a lovely ambience and for those who love Artwork, you will find a lot to admire. It is indeed a Beautiful place.Check in was equally smooth and we got served a cold towel and really tasty hibiscus drink. Breakfast was super, a wide spread and fresh. The hotel was also undergoing maintenance/repairs but it didn't hide the beauty of this hotel. Everyone was nice and eager to help. The swimming pool was also stunning. Nice light meals served. The hotel is pricey but it is worth it. I hope to return soon.

It's a lovely place. The renovations are taking shape except that these renovations can cause some noise discomfort sometimes - I wish they'd said something about it though. It's really well done up, clean, modern and you really get what you pay for. The staff are friendly, food is great and really very relaxing. Be warned- the price at the time of booking can change quite significantly at check-in.

Renovations seem to be largely complete and the rooms and lobby are lovely. Rooms are large with all the amenities, beautiful views of the ocean, very comfortable beds, large screen TV, strong wi-fi (a necessity for business travelers) and a lock-box. Breakfast buffet is expansive and includes made-to-order omelets and lots of fresh fruit and fresh juices as well as local fare. Meals, including breakfast, are expensive so it is worthwhile exploring nearby restaurants that range in price and include Asian, French and fusion cuisines as well as smaller local places for good 'cheb' or yassa. The only problem was on check out when the staff insisted on charging a different rate than that agreed upon with our company travel agency and said I should pay the premium for being in an ocean-view room, which I never requested but was assigned at check in(!). We eventually reached a compromise that was a few dollars over the agreed rate, but I had no more time to discuss without risking getting to the airport late. Lesson: bring your print-out rate with the name of the reservation manager! despite this hiccup, I would definitely stay at the Pullman-Teranga again.

Recently stayed at the Pullman in Dakar and while they are currently renovating the hotel, my stay was comfortable with no inconvenience from the building experienced. The staff were very friendly and service was top notch. Overall a great stay and hope to be back soon.

The best part was relaxing in their pool area beside the beach. I like the taste of their local beer being served. Also, the staff was very accommodating to what we needed. They have a strong WiFi signal as well even though we were on the bar area beside the pool. The locals who were their was very friendly as well. We really enjoyed our stay on this place.
