Overall, the property was excellent. The view was outstanding, the decore was rustic and on point, and the house including the incredible hot tub was very clean! We rented this three bedroom but only needed one bedroom, so we stayed in the main bedroom, however the mattress was very sunken in the middle and we could feel the springs. That was pretty surprising and definitely why I gave the house 4 stars and not 5. Additionally, the curtains were sheer and some windows and glass doors had no curtains at all, so it did not feel very private. The communication with the host was relatively okay. Sadly, we were waiting for an iron and ironing board that never arrived. And since we were there for a wedding, it was a needed item that we were anticipating to have but never received. On the bright side, the hot tub was heated well and ready upon arrival. There was an outside candle and lighter, which was a nice touch. There were very cozy, throw blankets on the couches and chairs and the linens in the bedroom were very soft and comfortable. Additionally, they had a very nice selection of flavored coffees for the kurig, with some flavored ceamers, which was a great treat, since we hadn't gone to the store to get our own prior to arrival. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, the outdoors, and the meticulously kept property grounds, and we definitely recommend staying here again.
this is located in a beautiful little town, get shops, food, gold mining caves where amazing. the house is cute, clean and close to everything, the house is on a cute community with 10 cabins. backs up to a cute lake. the community has some walking trails. this is a shared fire pit. a cute babbling brook on one of the paths close to fire pit. Cabin is easy to access. the bedroom on second level is accessible by spiral stair case only. I would go again.
