Brilliant

This is our second time staying at this property and hopefully not the last. The house is large, beautiful, and located in a quaint cove that is perfect for swimming or just relaxing on the pier/porch. Thanks so much for providing our family with amazing memories! Amazing! Didn’t want to come home!

Wonderful experience at this house. Pictures do not do it justice. Had my parents, siblings and all our families and it was perfect. Rented a pontoon from the neighbor who gave top notch service, and enjoyed all the water toys provided. Plenty of room to spread out, and took advantage of having our own boat launch. Wonderful stay, will be back for sure! Thank you to the Dedman’s for sharing their wonderful property with us!

Another Great Year

Perfect Stay

I don't usually leave reviews but I just wanted to reach out and thank the owners. We were able to check in early and arrived as the cleaners were leaving. Super friendly and kind and left the place looking great. We had 16 people and the size of the house was just right for our group and had things to entertain all of our wide range of ages. The lake is in a secluded cove that was perfect for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. I don't really know what else you could ask for. We hope to be back soon! Thanks again so much for everything! Lance

Great place, great location.

Casa Bear is a nice, big place just off of the big water in the middle of Lake Martin, so you can either stay in your immediate cove and enjoy a relaxed, deep swimming area with little boat traffic or you can bring your boat or rent one and quickly get to other areas of the lake. The house was clean, well equipped, and comfortable, with tons of indoor and outdoor space (even a lawn for cornhole). The owners communicated well and answered a few questions ahead of time, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend for a 3-day weekend.

Fantastic place on the lake!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the property. The house accomodated our needs, with sizable common areas, and a great dock to get picked up/ dropped off by a boat. Would definitely recommend to others

Perfect weekend getaway!

This home is fabulous! Had everything we needed and so much room to spread out! Lyn was wonderful and super informative. Huge thanks to Mr. Watkins with the pontoon rental as well! Everything was perfect.

Amazing Place

The Casa Bear is simply amazing. We were a group of 12 golfers playing the RTJ Trail and we simply had a blast of enjoying a good grill and some drinks after the rounds with sunset over the lake. If there is one improvement to be done in the listing is the photos: the real home is actually way better than what the photos suggest. Really recommended.

Perfect for family reunion

This house is amazing. The house is beautifully decorated. Looks brand new like a 5 star hotel. The 6 bedrooms are spacious, great linens and very comfortable. Two kitchens with new clean appliances. Easy access to lake, covered peer with super swimming area. We will definitely stay here again.

Lake Get Away

We had an amazing weekend with our family. The house is perfect in every way. Plenty of space with all the amenities. The porch was the perfect place to be in the morning drinking coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine. Also, it was a nice touch having games like chess, checkers, jinga, etc.. We loved every part of our stay.

Lake Life

My family and I vacation a good bit mostly to the beach however this summer we decided to visit lake martin. The lake is amazing and so is this property we had a great time chilling at the house and boating around lake martin. Joey answered all our questions and gave us some good spots to checkout on the lake.

Enjoyable week relaxing in the quiet cove of Casa Bear. House / dock clean and spacious with plenty activities. The second refrigerator was very handy. Board games came in handy due to the rainy week. Fun trip and we cannot wait to come back.

Wonderful graduation celebration!

We spent a few days after Auburn graduation celebrating with our three boys who were roommates for three of their four years in college. We had 12 adults all together (3 families) and there was lots of space for everyone! The house was very clean and the two full kitchens made the boy’s late night snacking easy!!
