The service was great, but the rooms were very musty & there was black mold in the bathroom. We asked to switch rooms because the smell was so bad & the 2nd room had more visible mold than the first. The location was great, staff friendly & tried to help, but the property needs some maintenance from multiple water leaks. Also, rooms were much smaller than they appear in picturez

The property was very nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was great, so many options just out the door. It was more of a 3 star property than reported 4 star, but overall, I would recommend the property. The room smelled a little musty, but not so much to bother us. Their free breakfast was very nice and had plenty of options to choose from.

Let me preface this review by acknowledging that our arrival was shortly after the city had flooded, so understanding the weather may have factored into our review. Our flight was delayed so we arrived quite late and they accommodated late check-in which we appreciated. However, shortly after check-in we realized how outdated the hotel was. The property just seemed a bit dingy and was musty (likely due to the rain) including the bedding. The pillows smelled of mildew and there appeared to be mold on the ceilings. The room itself was "clean" enough but it didn't appear that they vacuumed or swept well as there was so much hair everywhere including the body soap dispenser. And I'm not talking about on the bottle, I'm talking about a hair IN the spout. Very bizzare...either way, we weren't staying in the room much so brushed it off. Location was good as right near the main strip area, but far enough away from the craziness. Breakfast was included and did the go, nothing too exciting but had different options on a daily basis. Overall, our stay was fine but had some flaws.

The staff where very helpful and pleasant, the hotel was been modernised when we visited and the hotel had only reopened in the past couple of months. The breakfast was good but could be improved with more western choices. The front desk girls were a joy always smiling and ready to help. Really charming boutique hotel but needs few improvements. We had a joining rooms. In our room there was a leak behind the toilet and in our son’s room the A/C unit on the wall next to the door was leaking. He had to put towel on the floor or have the unit turned off. Not ideal considering heat and humidity. Otherwise really nice hotel. Very close to the shopping and bars and restaurants but quiet. Everyone was super nice and attentive. Each room had two big umbrellas to borrow. Really good idea during raining season. Breakfast not as good as other hotels we stayed in during our trip but still good.
