Beautiful city

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast are good and dishes look super clean. Room is spacious but outdated. It much be more impressive if it looks newer. We couldn’t open the window during our stay to get some fresh air because it’s always smoky outside.

The staff is terrible. They are rude and very mean. They will charge $ your second child (whether it’s 1 or 2 or 3 years old) who stay same room with you. I think the hotel is partially owned by the government. That’s why they don’t care about customer

Grand hotel coutumier des receptions, des soirees a theme, de la musique a 100 db..tout est mise sur la restauration alors que le quidam subit claquement de portes du voisinage et les nuisances sonores ( sono). Les murs separateurs sont en brique, aucune isolation acoustique. A fuir.

Satisfactory stay.

Our second stay here and still a good hotel overall with great variety for breakfast. The room is looking a little old and could do with some new upholstery. Also, was disappointed that the heated pool was closed for wedding reception.

Good , but easy to be better.

It's a lovely hotel in a good location. The Executive Suite was fantastic value and much better than The Gold Valley for same money. Some other readers griped about cleanliness, and to some extent , mildew etc on bathroom grouting is unsightly and easy to solve. Hot water not so hot , but decent enough for a long soak. Breakfast is good and on par with other 4* / 5* in the area. On the bad side, Hotel porters and security ignored us completely, not even offering a brolly or help with luggage to the tax on arrival or departure , and it was raining. Well below par compared to other premium hotels in the area. We were also slightly miffed at being charged the full day rack rate for an 8 hour extension to checkout due to a flight delay. Given that we did not take 4 breakfasts , they could have been more flexible on the overstay charge.
