Woollybutts- The Jewel on the Lake is a place of beauty and relaxation. You will find an extraordinary diversity of plant, wildlife, rain forest here that you can explore, enjoy a picnic or a walk. The rich lake birdlife can be appreciated from the house – sea eagles, pelicans, mangrove herons, cormorants, kingfishers, terns, spoonbills and black swans.

The house is surrounded by 150m of lake frontage on Cuttagee Lake. kayak, canoe or use the stand-up paddleboard to appreciate all the lake has to offer. Take a stroll to the glade where you will find the resident kangaroos.

Woollybutts is a 6-minute drive to Cuttagee or Barragoot beach and 10-minute Drive to Bermagui offering cafe's, restaurants and boutique shops.

This beautiful home is constructed of compressed earth bricks and took 5 years to complete. 3 bedroom's featuring high ceilings, ornate stained-glass windows and glass doors opening onto the views of the lake and garden with outdoor spaces to discover and enjoy.

From the front patio you can enjoy stunning lake views and surrounded by a mixture of native parkland vegetation and exquisite specimen trees including Japanese Maples and Camelia. Stepping inside you are welcomed into the living area light filled with beauty and relaxation. Woodfire for the wintertime or the Lake breeze for summertime. Dining area opens out to a covered Bbq area, Kitchen features some of the beautiful ornate stained-glass windows, fully equipped with dishwasher and 5 burner cooktop/oven.

This was the perfect location for us, in the middle of nowhere, but easily accessible, with internet and mobile, halfway between Bermagui and Four Winds. So restful and peaceful. We went kayaking on the lake. We swam in the two pools on the sea at Bermagui. We went to all 5 Four Winds Easter concerts and we were able to charge our electric vehicle before heading back to Melbourne. Andy checked in on us, and was lovely. Great find, thank you!
