The Space:

Mountain-Top Haven is a one-of-a-kind, custom-built 2-bedroom Black Hills retreat near Custer — crafted in 1982 using the stacked-cordwood method for a truly unique escape. Inside, a rustic open floor plan pairs new wood flooring with high vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and a hand-hewn log-railed staircase up to a lofted sleeping area, while a 65-inch smart TV and a Vermont Castings wood stove keep the home cozy.



The open kitchen is ready for homemade meals and large-group dinners, opening onto an extensive deck with tree-lined views and picturesque Black Hills sunsets from the front deck or the hill behind the cabin. Minutes from Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and Crazy Horse, it's a serene, character-filled getaway for couples and small families.
