Friendly staff, great food and quaint atmosphere. Within walking distance to Plaza de Armas. I only wish it was closer to my home so I could stay more often!! Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Cusco!
We stayed for four nights & enjoyed it very much. The staff was friendly, bed & pillows comfortable, shower pressure good (although the shower stall didn't drain properly for two of the days) and WIFI was okay. We had a wonderful view from our balcony. There is no elevator so by the time we walked up the street, climbed the dozen stairs to get to the hotel & then 3 flights of stairs to get to our room we were pooped. (not because we're out of shape but because of the altitude). It's only a few minutes walk to the main square which was very convenient. The breakfast was great and Francisco was ultra helpful. He will cook you special eggs in the morning and he is also the chef & server if you have dinner there in the evening. We had dinner there one night & it was excellent.... our compliments to Francisco (who will also drop what he is doing in the dining room to help someone carry their luggage up or down the stairs). We would definitely recommend this little gem of a hotel.
This a comfy and pretty hotel with an inclusive and tasty breakfast offering. The staff was not all that interested in interacting with us, except for one young woman who was very cheerful. The location is right in the heart of San Blas, so it provides a central location for any local explorations.
Staff were so helpful, room was a pleasant surprise with lots of character considering how cheap the room was. Small and friendly hotel. They arranged a very cheap taxi to the airport. Would recommend and stay again.
I stayed in November and really enjoyed my stay. The convenient location is on a quiet street in San Blas, close to the main square. The staff, particularly Melissa, was very helpful and even organized a group city tour. I highly recommend this facility!
I had a wonderful stay. The room was nicely appointed and comfortable, the location was great, and most importantly - the staff made the experience stand out above all with their friendly and thoughtful care and service. They truly made my birthday a special day with a surprise cake and sharing it with the whole hotel. Thank you Los Apus Hotel & Mirador!
From check in to check out we were made to feel more like visiting friends rather than clients. Can't fault any aspect of our stay at this fantastic little hotel. Pretty much centrally located and within easy walking distance from the main square the Los Apus is a gem.
The location of the hotel is very close to all attractions. The decorations of the hotel give you the sense of Cusco culture. The staff was very helpful when my wife had high altitude sickness. The Peruvian food seems very heavy. We couldn't really adjust our stomach under the high altitude. The kitchen chef did a very nice chicken noodle soup which we could n't find it in other restaurants in Cusco.
the hotel has a good location only about 5 minutes walk from the main square. our room had a balcony with mountain views. staff were fantastic. nothing was too much trouble, whether it was booking taxis, printing boarding passes or advising on altitude sickness. they also arranged for us to be collected at the airport for free.
Los Apus is a great base to stay in Central Cusco. It's minutes walking distance to Plaza de Armas, in the heart of San Blas where all the best artisanal sellers are (think souvenir gifts). Rooms are spacious and ours had a balcony overlooking the street outside and with view across Cusco and the Andes further ahead. Breakfast included delicious fresh fruit and eggs made to order. Staff all speak English and were super helpful with us and welcomed us as a gay couple. They also let us leave our stuff here while we trekked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Also - check out their top floor bar, it's got great views across the city.
