"Very comfortable home in the quiet country for our family of 12 adults and one 6-year-old boy to celebrate my husband's 85th birthday. Loved the hot tub, the home theater with popcorn machine, poker table, and especially the size of the kitchen. Very roomy bedrooms for all of our adult children and grandchildren. The bunk room was especially convenient for our two 20-something grandsons. Convenient to Culpeper shops. Only mystery is why one of the five upstairs bedrooms had no en suite bathroom and there was no hall bath, which meant that guests who stayed in the bedroom with no en suite had to go downstairs or go through someone else's bedroom to use the bathroom or take a shower. Hosts were very pleasant and responsive. I would stay there again if we needed a family gathering space."

"Our hosts were communicative and friendly, helped when we had a few questions, very responsive. The house was lovely, well appointed, had everything we could need, what we couldn’t find (sugar) we bought and left behind. Everything was in a place that made sense. It was not cluttered or full of too many Knick knacks which we loved, it was just enough. It was very inviting and a great place to relax. The beds we used were comfy and the bathrooms had everything you could need. The game room kept us thoroughly entertained, and the big screen tv was fun to watch. And the area was super quiet and the neighborhood was easy to navigate. It was an all around great experience and we would stay here again. We would veer"

"The location was absolutely stunning — one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed, and the house itself was just as lovely. Everything was clean, peaceful, and true to the photos. Unfortunately, the host experience wasn’t as positive. She lives next door and sent additional rules at the last minute, then seemed to scrutinize us throughout the stay. I’m 28, and she made a comment about my age that gave the impression she was uncomfortable with younger guests. It was disappointing because we took good care of the home and respected the space. Overall, the property itself is wonderful, but I’d recommend it more for guests who prefer a very closely monitored stay."
