We were traveling with our pet and most hotels we have stayed at in the past on the beaches for pet friendly were nasty, smelly, you could hear everything going on in halls and next door and not comfy at all. So i went in with low expectations but tried to pick a nicer one so i went with this one because of past experiences with other places and was soooo suprised that the room was clean, smelled new and very nice. I was really impressed. My husband is sensitive to smells and he enjoyed the room as well. We had a pool view. Was little disapointed that a wedding was going on when we arrived so we couldnt enjoy the pool, but weddings are happy times, so couldnt be mad about that, we still enjoyed our stay without the pool time...lol. would def stay again. I felt safe and my pet enjoyed her stay as well :)
Great hotel. Very professional and friendly staff; rooms were clean and in great condition. Beds are very comfortable and breakfast is decent. AC worked fine. Would love if they would add a gym there. Will be back again.
The hotel was immaculately clean, the staff exceptionally friendly and it was a wonderful stay. We arrived from the Disney World All Star Sports Resort and this hotel was much, much cleaner. It was not very busy or loud, we slept great. Kudos to all of the staff who were just wonderful.
Staying st this hotel for six nights for my sister's 50th Wedding Anniversary. Upon my arrival I was offered a room that smelled extremely damp. They had a dehumidifier running but the smell and dampness was so bad that I could not have stayed one night in that room, let alone be in that room for six nights! I have not used their cleaning service for the first three nights as they have a sign in the bathroom that states they change towels and linens every third day. On day four, I allowed the cleaning staff in as they were now able to change my sheets and take away the dirty towels and replace them with clean ones. Sadly to say they came in and only emptied the trash can and put the toilet seat up - did they clean it- I don't feel any assurance that that occurred. I spoke with the night staff upon my arrival around 11pm. She told me to advise staff in the morning but that she would annotate my issues/concerns. She then got me clean towels. The next morning, day five -- I spoke with the Asst mgr Tabitha. The night staff did make a note - thank you. She told me that my towels should have been on the floor to be taken away. I told her that I had a 91 year old Mother with me and that would not be safe but that your guidelines provided state's that you will be providing clean towels and linens on day three. The Asst mgr said that I could always request more service. I told her that I had read their policy and was going along with it. The problem is that -this Quality Inn on Norvell Bryant Hwy - isn't going along with Quality Inn/Choice guidelines. She plans to have the staff to come in today to change all linens but Quality Inn is a day late. The Asst mgr also told me that they don't change the sheets on day three or four but that you have to stay a week in the hotel for clean sheets or you have to request them earlier. I told her that is not what your sign says in the bathroom. This Quality Inn seems to be going rogue against their company's stated policies. I was not offered any compensation either. Also the breakfast dining area is small and doesn't seem to accommodate guests. I highly recommend that they begin to offer half and half for the coffee/tea service. Also I just didn't bother to advise staff that I didn't have a coffee pot in my room as they didn't have half and half to go with it. I would NOT recommend this hotel as I am concerned about how cleanliness. Choice you need to talk with this facility.
I recently brought a group of golfers (22) to this location and because we were no going to finish until after checkout time I asked if I could pay for a half day to be able to return to the room and gather my things. As a Choice member I could have a 2 pm check out but because i had items that could not stay in the car for all those hours I asked for another 2-3 hours. The manager took a hard line and would not accommodate me and charged me the full day for 2 1/2 hours. Needless to say as the founder of a golf club who organizes trip all over and has previously been in the travel industry, I know that he hotel was not completely booked. The excuse they gave me was that the housekeeping staff would not be there that late. When I returned to gather my things they were still there! THe rest of the staff was very kind and tries to help but this manager was not at all flexible. I will be writing to corporate and if you are booking a group and need anything out of the ordinary this is not the property for you. It is sad because everything else, well other than the smack breakfast offered was fine. There is no restaurant or bar to for those who would like that, hotel room and that is all.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Delicious breakfast all day. Wonderful to have tea available all day/night also. Nice to sit under gazebo on patio and talk with other family members while enjoying tea. Will definitely stay again if in area again.
Very nice staff. The entire staff was very nice and very friendly. Very clean. Very Comfortable beds. Good water pressure in the shower. Good internet service any time of day. Enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely go back again.
We stayed here in Jan. 2017 while visiting friends in nearby Beverly Hills. We had a couple of housekeeping issues upon check-in. We contacted the Front Desk and were assured that she would let the manager know. I didn't expect any further follow-up. However, Sarah Aube, the General Manager personally called our room to inquire about the situation, and she made good on it. Excellent! That's what good management does in a hotel. The room was quiet, and the bed was incredibly comfortable--one of the best mattresses we've ever slept on. The room itself could use a little TLC from housekeeping. Overall, we would definitely would return. The staff that we interacted with were friendly and professional--a sign of a good General Manager.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was very good. The breakfast area was very clean and there was a wonderful choice of foods for everyone. The front desk staff was very friendly. Theresa, Judy and William always met us with a smile and asked us if we needed anything. We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay and would return to this hotel the next time we are in the area.
We stayed here for a week on business. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, day and night staff. The room was very comfortable with newer linens, spacious bathroom, and quiet; even though kids were running down the hall, we didn't hear them inside the room. There is a work table and chairs in the room, and computer/printer available in the lobby. Breakfast was wonderful, with hot selections including waffles, eggs, bacon, hash browns, instant oatmeal. 4 juice varieties. Cold selections included yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, danish. Plenty of coffee and tea choices. The staff is constantly restocking the breakfast and cleaning tables, even 15" before service ended. There is a lovely heated outdoor pool area for relaxing. We used the coin-operated washer/dryer with good results. This location is handy for Citrus Hills, Lecanto, Hernando, Beverly Hills, and within 15" of Crystal River. We visited Rainbow Springs State Park, Homassassa, Fort Island Beach from here. There are many mom &pop restaurants nearby.
