Wonderful Location

This is the perfect ski in/out house. We have stayed at The Gray Fox for two years and the stay has been exceptional each time. Perfect for large families.

Amazing Stay

Gray Fox was beautiful. There was lots of room for everyone, and it was great being able to seat 14 at the dining table for meals. We will definitely stay here again when returning to Crested Butte. Ski in/out was super easy. Many in our party took advantage of the complimentary First Tracks Shuttle.

Amazing house!

The house is absolutely beautiful, perfect for ski on/ ski off. The hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Outstanding Property

This home did not disappoint. It was everything the pictures depicted and much more. The house had everything we could possibly need. The ski in/ski out was at a great location on the mountain. There was not one negative thing I could say about our stay here. We enjoyed the hot tub with the amazing view of the mountains all around us. At the end of the week we didn't want to leave this beautiful home.

Great home for family vacation.

We’ve been going to CB for 20 plus years staying in numerous homes, this one has to be the best. Child and family friendly. Views were amazing from all points of the property. This large home is extremely quiet. Great communication with property management. Love we could use the garage with easy access to the kitchen. It’s hard to say anything negative about this home, but mosquitoes were extremely bad. With that being said, retractable screens were difficult to operate, which were a necessity to keep the home cool. We will definitely book this beautiful home again.

The management team was very easy to communicate with, the home was spotless and well appointed. Great spaces for our group and amazing star gazing from the hot tub! I really appreciate the no-hassle check out and check in procedures.

Exceptional Property and Management

From initial booking to checkout, this was a 10/10 experience. Really happy with the location (ski in/out), quality of the home itself and furniture/accessories. Was nice to have fire wood and all the little extras. Excellent communication with the Property Manager. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Multi Family perfection

We traveled with three families including children ages 1-12! The bedroom and bath situation could not have been better for this as everyone had their own en suite. The kitchen is a dream and VERY well appointed with spices and condiments in addition to gadgets and cookware. Don’t buy a wine opener if you stay here LOL. They’re now stocked with at least 10. We did contribute a new can opener as theirs had seen better days. We cooked every meal for 11 and enjoyed it! The garage parking is a major perk and access to town was 15 minutes. Two families had a car and our family did not. We skied in and out, but as the listing says a car is really recommended for this location (and 4WD in a good snow year!) Ski access is very manageable for blue skiers, but novice or young skiers could not ski in especially. Our girls (10 and 12) never had a problem, but would caution families with ski school aged kiddos. Would absolutely stay again and was sad to leave. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home!

Wonderful Winter Stay

We loved the home, the location of the property where the kids could ski in and out, and the comfortable indoor decor. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! The kitchen was well stocked for eating in a night or two. The kids enjoyed the bunk-room environment. We would stay again at this location. We grilled one evening and we saw the neighborhood fox, and the bird that sits on the deck. Wonderful days away!

Breathtaking views

Very well built home with custom kitchen and furnishings. Every bedroom has its own unique views of the phenomenal landscape views. It snowed a few days before we got there and the snow was still there for the children to enjoy. Great place to get away with your family and enjoy nature with peaceful surroundings.

Great home with all of the amenities and greatv location.

We pleasantly enjoyed this house. The location is superb and the house itself is very inviting and spacious. We were able to use the sauna and it didn't disappoint after a long day of skiing. This is a perfect home for families that are needing somewhere to relax on a day off from skiing or running around. There is plenty of space to spread out and plenty of games to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again.

Childhood memories revisited for Family Christmas

This is a wonderful property and our family had not skied together in 30 years! It was such a comfortable home and everyone had their own space, all bedrooms with own baths, five king rooms and one bunk room! It was perfect! The home has it all except it does not come with a cook! But for those of us who love to cook, the kitchen was a dream! Yes it is wonderful, remote and private but ski in and out! Thank you for helping us create new memories and bring back such good times from our past when our kids were learning to ski!

Family Ski Trip

“Gray Fox” was the perfect place for our family reunion/ ski trip. The house was well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils and many accoutrements. It was perfect for the college age cousins to ski from w/o needing to be driven to a lift. Views from the house were spectacular. Can’t think of a more beautiful spot. Our only comments are we needed a specialist technician to run the lights and tv. We leave with wonderful memories of place close to heaven.

Amazing Property!

This was our first visit to the Crested Butte area and this house was amazing! We stayed for 4 nights and we all wished we would have booked longer. We had 4 adults and 3 children ranging in age from 8-12 years old. The hot tub (which was huge!) and the dry sauna were a great end to each day. The kids loved the ping pong table and simply going out the front door to play in the snow. We were close to town, but removed enough to enjoy the quiet and amazing views of the mountains. We grabbed groceries in Gunnison and cooked most of our meals at the property, which had everything and more that we could ever need. I’d truly recommend this house to anyone and we’re looking forward to returning again soon!

Perfect spot for family reunion

We had our four children, their spouses and grandchildren and had a fabulous time. The home is gorgeous, comfortable, and has absolutely everything you need and more. Many things were provided and much appreciated as compared to other rentals...things like soap, detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, spices, condiments, nice bedding, etc. There were games for the family, a ping pong table, and so many TV's for down time. The most spectacular part, however, are the views from every angle of the house. One night we sat on the deck in awe of the Milky Way and all the falling stars! We feel so fortunate the owners of this lovely home shared it with us.
